One may need to ask,
One God but why so many religions? Apart from Christianity, many religions have
been born or found. The teachings of some of these religions are confusing,
deceiving and violent.
The effect of some
of these 'Mushroom religions" is the catastrophe, chaos, suicide,
destruction and violence we are witnessing in the world today.
Countless religion
has caused so much confusion in the world that many worshippers have chosen the
worship of animals and idols.
These people
believed in superhuman qualities of animals and honored animals for having a
spiritual life. One can be a vegetarian but that doesn't mean you need to
worship a cow, goat or any edible animal.
Romans 1:23, "And instead of worshipping the glorious ever-living God, they worshipped idols made to look like mere people, birds, animals, and reptiles".
In this case, animal
worship is classified as idolatry. The most known continent that is related to
animal worship in Asia. India is perhaps the center of all idol worship.
Elephant, Tiger, Snake and even the mouse are worshipped.
Part of the ten commandments says "Thou shall not have any other gods before Me and Thou shall not make yourself any idol, bow down to it or worship it.
But many today
follow their own evil desires. The fear of the Lord is the foundation of true
wisdom. I will recommend the Holy Bible to anyone that wants peace, happiness
and a better life to read.
