ONCE A MAN, TWICE A CHILD, BUT LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL

The beautiful part of being old

The beautiful part of being old

One of the wonderful phases of the cycle of life, is the arrival of a newborn baby into the world, after nine months long agonizing pregnancy.

The devoted mother after labor sees her wonderful child in her arms and immediately forgets all the pains she passed through. You can hear the baby crying because he/she is hungry.

Looking after the baby becomes the task of her mother, in the morning, afternoon, evening and night. The mother can't sleep when the child is sick, making her lose the precious sleep she needs.

This uneasy task of bringing up a child will go on every day until the child is of age and could take care of herself or himself.

Like every living thing, human being grows. Yearly after yearly, everyone celebrates his or her birthday. Like running water going down the drain, everyone becomes old without thinking of how fast the years are going by.

Old age is a difficult part of life that many fear. Loneliness, insecurity, and neglect are some of the issues that worry many old age people, even when there are homes or families to take care of them.

A man continues to grow and at a certain age becomes like a child once again at his feeding and cleaning of himself. He starts acting like a child, sometimes crying and complaining of things that are unnecessary.

Does it really worth living when you find yourself in this situation? Yes, it worth living.

Life is more precious than silver and gold. It worth being in this world to explore, learn and teach. Many simply don't value life because they fully depend on material things, and when they failed to get it, they become disappointed.

To be happy in life until old age, people need to seek also the spiritual part of life. It is written, "Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven."

Does this sound stupid? Just give it a try and you will discover the value of life without a second thought of committing suicide when the going gets tough.

MARIO BALOTELLI SHOULD SUE THE NEWSPAPER "Gazzetta dello Sport"

MARIO BALOTELLI

MARIO BALOTELLI

When it comes to gross disrespect, abuse of human rights, and racism against blacks, Italians are number one within the euro zones. They do that every day against blacks with impunity.

This time, they have gone too far by showing pure racism against Mario Balotelli, a footballer playing for Manchester City and the Italian national team.

Even though anti-racism campaigners have criticized the newspaper "Gazzetta Dello Sport" for depicting Mario Balotelli, like King Kong in a cartoon on top of the clock tower Big Ben, that isn't enough.

The newspaper has to be sued. Mario shouldn't accept any apology because Italians are like pigs, no matter how you clean them, they will still go into the mud.

They should be ashamed of themselves. The country has the police, Carabinieri, and Guardia di Finanza, yet they can't fight their mafia gangs, the Camorra and the Ndraghetta, causing panic, misery, death throughout Italy.

All that they know best is racism against poor innocent blacks. Italians can't live in their own country, because of mafia activities. This is what the newspapers must fight against but not to insinuate racism.

No one can tell me better about the attitude of Italians against blacks. I lived in Rome for three years and my experience in that city is vividly in my mind like a picture hanging on the wall.

One couldn't even identify a genuine policeman from a false one because every criminal has a police badge to rob people.

They claim to be intelligent, yet they can't speak common English. Their intelligence only lies in racism, mafia activities, robbing banks, killing and ruining businesses of other people that do not want to pay money to the mafia gangs. Blacks don't do this. They should leave Mario Balotelli alone. Shameless people.

YOU TOO CAN WRITE FOR MONEY

Writing is an interesting creative part of life

Writing is an interesting creative part of life

Many are born with talents. Some of these talents could be hereditary. While others go to school to learn whatever they want to do in life. In this case, some people are born as writers while others are made.

As an African writer, who grew up in a hard environment, where education was and is always a luxury, I don't think I would have made it to the university level to study journalism. Because it is very expensive to study at university in any part of Africa.

At a very tender age at middle school, I detected my passion for writing. Mine was hereditary, because my father was one of the best Ghanaian journalists, during the Kwame Nkrumah era. Justin Kodzo Savage (JUSKOSAVE) was assigned as a reporter, to travel with Kwame Nkrumah, the first president of Ghana.

Many newspapers reject articles. They look for special articles of interest. It seemed I hit my targets right. Every article I wrote was published. That encouraged me to read and write more articles. At secondary school, I had already made a name for myself as a writer.

I was paid for many of my articles and within a short period, not that I became well known but I made a lot of money from my writings. There are many books about how to be a successful writer, but I have my own ideas and rules I dwell on to be a successful writer.

1. Please when one wants to write articles that can easily be accepted by the print media for publication, choose topics like teenage pregnancy, drug abuse, crime or any other social problems affecting the society to write about. The print media love them.

2. When writing, let readers know about the effect of the chosen subject in society. You could even suggest how the government should tackle the problem by reducing or permanently eradicating it.

3. Don't try to impress the publisher by writing long articles, else the article may lose its significance. Let your article be short, with all the ingredients that make it interesting. You will be happy sitting by your dining table reading your own written article.

A GUIDE TO WIN A LADY OF YOUR DREAM

A pretty lady

A pretty lady

We often read a lot about how to be successful in dating a lady. Articles on how to get a woman of your dream, are all over the internet. The question is, do some of these tips given really help to have the best lady you ever wanted in your arms?

I'm not a casanova or a womanizer but frankly speaking, I have studied women to know what really attracts them to date a man. Many men think that putting on the best shirt, trousers, good tie to match, and stuffing wallets with a lot of money to impress, make them perfect gentlemen to attract a lady immediately.

You can be a perfect gentleman in your best clothes, but sorry to tell you that you will come home every day from work, miserable like a church mouse, without any woman looking at you or turning down your offer to go out for a drink.

The worse of it all is when in the best outfit, hoping to get a lady at a party or discotheque. You will be surprised to see a common man in simple clothes or unkempt hair (rasta) taking the most attractive lady away right in front of you.

Now let's talk about what ladies like most to see on men, they like to date. Don't be talkative and try to let women recognized you every time by talking too much. When you want to talk discuss funny things and make a lot of jokes. Ladies like that.

Be simple, kind and respectful to ladies. Give them help when you see them having a tough time over something. They like men that are considerate and helpful. They can accept your help or reject it but don't let that put you off. Try it another time.

Don't dress too rich to impress a lady. Be simple and casual but let your shoes be a very good one. Because ladies like men in good shoes. Your shoes speak or introduce you to a lady.

Have you ever heard "Repair your shoes for they speak about you?" Ladies hate men in worn-out heel shoes. If you can't repair your own shoes, what's the guarantee that you will take good care of her?

Finally, never ever be shy when talking to a lady. Be bold, look into her eyes and speak to her. That convinces a lady that you are a bold and serious person.

Never tell a friend to tell a lady that you like her. Do it yourself. When that happens, you are considered as a coward. I have got mine. Good luck to those trying.

A GUIDE TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT PUBLISHER WITHOUT TEARS

A manuscript

A manuscript

Despite reading carefully on the internet how to choose a good publisher, I submitted my manuscript to a very bad publisher, which nearly turned my life into a streak of nightmares.

After getting out of this terrible situation, I decided to write my experience as a guide, to prevent other writers determined to publish their books, not to be in the same situation.

As an aspiring enthusiastic would-be author or someone that wants to make money as a writer, keep away from publishers which adverts are constantly seen on the internet soliciting for manuscripts.

They often begin with, "We want the world to read your book. Our responsibility is to add your name to the list of famous writers, or do you have a script that could become a Hollywood film?, We are here to guide you to be a published author".

Please, when you read such things from a publisher who has placed an advert on the internet, don't be tempted to hand over your manuscript to them. They are Ghoul, they don't feed on the dead but the living. They are not to make you rich or famous in any way. They are only after your money.

They are sugar-coated tongue criminals in white-collar. Just imagine, how could a publisher make you rich and famous when one receives a package of $8.100, for a print on demand publication?

This happened to me and I cancelled the contract with a good fight. The new package was a little over $2.000, which is also much but better than the first package. It took me six months to pay the money, but believe it or not, the book is yet to come out. Do you call that a good publisher? Beware, brothers, and sisters.

Remember, a good product doesn't need an advertisement. Good publishers never place adverts soliciting for manuscripts but you can easily get them at their websites. It is the writers that go after them. The question is how can a writer identify a good publisher?

Go to the public library or bookshop and glance through most of the famous books in mind. You can quickly see the publisher's name in the book. Since almost all the good publishers are following print on demand (POD) as one of their services, you can contact them and ask for a package.

Via Google or Yahoo, ask "Best print on demand publishers". Soon as possible, you will get the information of the best print on demand publishers or self-publishing, including Lulu, Createspace, Amazon.com, etc.

The above-mentioned publishers are those that I knew could let you see your book published, with good promotion and good royalties. You deserve to be helped, not to be robbed.

MY NEIGHBOR FEARS TO OPEN HER MAIL BOX

A mailbox

A mailbox

Gone are the days, when people fear to open their mailbox at home when terrorists laced letters with anthrax or the fear of being killed by a letter bomb.

Even though Belgium, is one of the safest countries to live in  Europe, many fear opening their mailbox in the morning, afternoon or evening. Don't be mistaken. There isn't any rattlesnake, hidden in the corner of the post box, but unexpected bills to pay scared many not to open mailboxes.

Many times you may see a box full of letters you might think the owner is in the hospital or even dead. Not at all. The owner is living. Imagine you've lost your job and living on social benefit. How long could that make you happy when one needs to pay his house, electricity, gas and other bills?

There is nothing I could compare paying bills with difficulty than a headache in the middle of the night. "You will be on the bed all night but your eyes will be gazing at the ceiling", said a neighbor, who is having nightmares of paying bills because of her financial situation.

I have been through this and I survived. One early January, I could still remember when I displayed about twelve bills to pay on my dining table. This is how I did it and I will encourage anyone who finds himself in this situation to follow this simple task.

1. Many bills are given time to pay and others are not. Pick up those with stated duration and clear that first. Else, when the time to pay expires, you could be punished with a higher amount.

2. Always try to pay those with higher amounts first. That is the most difficult task. Paying a bill with a big amount is not easy, but when you are able to do that you will find it easy to pay those with the lesser amount as easy as ABC.

3. If the amount is really high and there is no way you can submit to the payment plan. Please go to the office that sent you the bill and explain your situation to them. They will definitely give you a simple and easy monthly payment plan to follow.

4. If you are a regular visitor to the restaurant, the cinema, or doing anything you love most which cost you a fortune, try to sacrifice by avoiding those places or things. This could help you to save enough money to clear your bills within the shortest period.

UNICEF SHOULD APPOINT DECENT FEMALE CELEBRITIES AS GOODWILL AMBASSADORS

Unicef logo

UNICEF has been appointing many celebrities as goodwill ambassadors. Some of the celebrities are musicians, film stars, actresses and those with a wide range of talents and achievements. In this case, UNICEF depends on the fame and achievement of people, to appoint them goodwill ambassadors.

According to UNICEF “celebrities attract attention, so they are in the position to focus on the world’s eye on the needs of children, both in their own countries and by visiting field projects and emergency programs abroad.

That means celebrities play an important role in helping, catering and shaping the lives of children in unpleasant situations.

Unfortunately, UNICEF has failed to run background checks of many female celebrities, if they are qualified to be appointed as goodwill ambassadors or not.

These are people working because of children, in this case, it is the responsibility of UNICEF, to appoint decent people that worth to lead children, not porn stars, not celebrities with naked photos all over the internet.

When one checks the background of some of the female celebrities appointed as goodwill ambassadors on the internet, it is shocking to see them naked. Playing nude in a movie is totally different from those that had openly advertised their nude on the internet.

Children learn very fast. They are the leaders of tomorrow. They need good teachers and leaders to follow, not celebrities who had polluted the internet with immorality.

UNICEF is doing a very good job, throughout the whole world, especially in Third World Countries, by fighting against sicknesses and giving vaccinations to children against diseases. In fact, their task is enormous.

But for the children to become good leaders and decent people in society, UNICEF must choose respected people, not soiled and dented celebrities.
