Perfect Storm Of Financial Collapse And WWIII

Journalist and book author Michael Snyder says the collapse is not an event, but a “process.” Snyder explains, “I believe it is already in the process of coming apart. . . . One-fifth of the global stock market value is already gone.

That means we only have four-fifths left.  At one point this month, $16.5 trillion had been wiped out from global stock markets since mid-2015.  So, this started last year.

That means we only have four-fifths left.  At one point this month, $16.5 trillion had been wiped out from global stock markets since mid-2015.  So, this started last year.

We saw oil collapse.  We’ve seen junk bonds collapse.  We’ve seen commodity prices collapse.  The $16.5 trillion I just mentioned is just for stocks, and when you add up the other losses, that’s trillions of dollars more wealth that has been wiped out all over the world.

What we have seen already has been extraordinary, but we are still in the process.  People want to think of it as an event or a single day or a month, but this is a process.”

Snyder also contends, “The Baltic Dry Index dropped below 300 for the first time ever. We did not even see that during 2008 Great Recession and financial crisis.  I didn’t know the Baltic Dry Index could go that low.

We are seeing exports decline dramatically in South Korea.  New numbers for Japan came out . . . their exports were down 12% year over year.  Exports in China have been falling month, after month, after month.

The U.S. exports were down 7% for the last monthly figure we had.  India’s exports are down.  This is happening all over the world. Real economic activity is grinding to a halt.”

Snyder says the problems with some global banks are far worse than in 2008. Snyder says, “The collapse of Deutsche Bank would be a far bigger event than the collapse of Lehman Brothers was back in 2008.

If you are looking for another Lehman Brothers moment with their derivatives exposure . . . and now the biggest bank, in the biggest and most important economy in Europe, is in the process of coming apart.”

On war, Snyder says to keep your eyes on the Middle East and Syria. Snyder explains, “Saudi Arabia and Turkey have to give up and cut their losses or they have to go in and do the job themselves.

The Sunni militants, including ISIS, are not getting the job done.  Turkey and Saudi Arabia are seriously considering a ground invasion of Syria.  Are the Russians and Hezbollah and Iran going to stand aside and let them do it?  I say almost certainly not and, in fact, could very easily erupt into WWIII.”

Either way, Snyder thinks we get “global financial collapse” and “World War III” but does not know which one comes first. Snyder says, “We already have the global economy grinding to a halt, but if we get WWIII, that just accelerates things greatly.

It’s the chicken or the egg, whichever comes first, but without a doubt, we are moving into a time described as a perfect storm.”

On precious metals, Snyder says, “I think silver will absolutely skyrocket in the years ahead. We like gold, but absolutely love silver.”

GIVING CHILDREN A PROMISING AND BETTER LIFE

A child soldier far away from the classroom

A child soldier far away from the classroom

The global economic recession and poverty, which have affected Third World countries most, have resulted in the rampant abandoning of babies in gutters, pit latrines, bushes, and remote places.

Many mothers are giving up their babies for adoption. Some end up selling their babies or deliberately kill them. This inhuman act shows that some children are born into incapable hands.

If one does not really need a child, why should parents bring them into the world to suffer? Training and caring for children, in terms of feeding, clothing, education, and health have never been a simple task. It is better for parents to prevent an unwanted pregnancy than to give birth to a child to become a menace to society.

Parents who did not get the opportunity to be educated may feel education is a waste of time, and therefore the child should be engaged in parents' trade.

In India, hundreds of children are said to be under bondage, working as slaves to defray the debts of their parents. Under some hardships, children are even forced to sell part of their body parts, such as a kidney to raise money for their parents.

In Brazil, children are sprayed by bullets, for the government to collect the bodies from the streets, as a measure to prevent street child explosion. Is this the best solution to prevent street children?

When children are thought how to read from the initial stages, they become interested in books. However poor a child’s reading ability is, his interest in reading would improve his knowledge.

Things go wrong for children these days like people don’t know their value in this world. Many organizations are all over Africa to improve children’s education, but the harvest is plentiful, while the labourers are few.

It’s an enormous task. Education for children is not a choice, it’s their right and the only way to give these children a better future is through education.

A PLATE OF CANCER FIGHTING FOOD

Certain foods that help to fight cancer

Certain foods that help to fight cancer

Article originally published in Health Mind Bodies

With today’s way of life, people are more likely to suffer from obesity, and exposed to various diseases or contract some forms of cancer. On the other hand, modern-day medicine has evolved such that people can rely on the latest drugs or devices to treat cancer.

When it comes to treating cancer, prevention and detection is probably the best way to nipping it in its bud. Thus, we should always go for regular health screenings to detect cancer in its early stages and isolate it early.

On the other hand, we also try to prevent or delay contracting cancer as far as possible by consuming healthy foods, which we have compiled a list of for you. (Do not replace this list with your regular health checkup.)

1.    Cauliflower

Cauliflower contains sulforaphane, a compound that has been shown to have anti-cancer effects. Sulforaphane is released when cauliflower is broken down, so focus on chewing it before swallowing. This compound seeks and destroys certain cancer cells without harming the healthy cells.

There are plenty of recipes available online on how you can add cauliflower to your meals. Cauliflower and broccoli have similar effects, so add broccoli to your list of foods too.

2.    Carrots

Even though carrots are mainly thought to be good for one’s eye-sight, researches from the last ten years suggest that they are also good against some types of cancer, one of which is prostate cancer.

A study was done on mice who were fed an increased carrot intake, and the study showed that carrots could stop the growth of prostate cancer. Carrot has many other health benefits too, there is no reason not to eat them!

3.    Avocados

Not many people are fans of this fruit, but avocados as a food is so beneficial, they are almost a must-have item in your kitchen. Avocados have an abundance of nutrients, mostly antioxidants which have been proven to reduce the risk of certain forms of cancer.

Avocados also have a high amount of healthy monounsaturated fat. This is a high-fat fruit, which is definitely interesting, considering how most of the other fruits are very low in fat or even fat-free, and avocados can actually help you lose weight and not the reverse.

As a food, they are very versatile. You can make guacamole out of it, add slices to a sandwich or mix in with other fruits to create  a juice or smoothie.

4.    Broccoli

Broccoli is one of the best natural cancer fighters against many types of cancer. Colon and bladder cancer are among the top two cancers that can be treated or even prevented when eating broccoli. Find it in whichever form you can, be it fresh, frozen or pre-cooked, it will still retain most of its nutritional value!

The high fibre levels in broccoli can also help with your digestion, so broccoli is a vegetable that is beneficial for your health to eat often.

5.    Tomatoes

Tomatoes are healthy and tasty at the same time. Cooked tomatoes help your body release more lycopene, a specific phytochemical that provides cancer-fighting benefits.

Tomatoes also provide you with lots of antioxidants for your body, and are known to be useful to treat or prevent prostate cancer.

There are many ways to eat tomatoes, it can be eaten raw or cooked with dishes, or blended to make juice as well.

HEALTH MATTERS: 13 NUTRIENTS THAT HELP TO PREVENT HEART DISEASE

Heart disease prevention

Heart disease prevention

Original article published in MailOnline.

We have all heard the saying ‘we are what we eat’, with a belief that a good diet can help protect us from ill-health.

Dr. Carl Pfeiffer, a pioneer in nutritional medicine believed that ‘with adequate intake of micronutrients, most chronic disease won’t exist’.

We live in a world where our food is heavily processed, laden with sugar and artificial chemicals.

We exercise less, have more stress, and spend less time in the sunshine.

Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in the UK and the US, yet we can all do more to help prevent it.

I believe eating a healthy, home-cooked diet rich in nutrients are the key to not only protecting our heart but fortifying our bodies against a variety of ill-health.

Ditch the junk and processed options, stop counting calories and switch to eating real food

I have put together a list of foods that can help protect your heart, but overall you will see a pattern – fresh fruit and vegetables, oily fish, grass-fed meat, nuts, and seeds are the real superfoods.

Here are 13 nutrients you can mix into your meals to achieve a heart-healthy diet:

1.Omega 3 essential fatty acids
Think of the Mediterranean diet, rich in oils and fresh fish.

You gain the short-chain monosaturated fatty acids (oleic acid) from the olive oil which has been shown to help reduce LDL (bad) cholesterol and triglycerides.

Long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids such as EPA and DHA can help prevent inflammation throughout the body as well as protect against cardiovascular disease.

Found in: Oily Fish, nuts and seeds, seed oils.

2. Magnesium

Magnesium plays a vital role in the production of a type of energy called ATP.

Muscles need this energy in order to relax – the heart is a muscle and studies have shown that good levels of magnesium can help prevent stroke, and heart attacks.

Magnesium is vital for good health and somewhat neglected in the western world.

Women tend to be more deficient than men.

Stress also depletes our reserves of magnesium so topping up is vital.

Found in: Nuts, Seeds, Green Leafy vegetables, pulses such as red lentils.

If you are concerned about your magnesium levels, take a daily supplement, but ensure it is magnesium citrate as this is the most bioavailable form.
You can also add Epsom salts to your bath as you will absorb their magnesium through the skin.

3. Co-Enzyme Q10

Known for helping with energy production alongside Magnesium, Co-Q10 is also a powerful antioxidant and can work well with selenium, vitamin C, vitamin E and zinc to help protect our arteries from damage.

It is also worth noting that anyone taking statins will have lower levels of CoQ10 so may need to take a daily supplement.

Found in: Meat, eggs, and fish.

4. Vitamin D

We are starting to recognize the benefits of vitamin D from sun exposure to help protect us from a variety of diseases, but particularly heart disease, high blood pressure, and strokes.

In fact, research has shown a 40 percent higher risk of heart disease when deficient of vitamin D and a massive 81 percent higher chance of dying from heart disease.

Found in: The best source is sunshine, but you can also gain a little from fish (especially fish liver), some mushrooms and eggs.

5. Zinc

Just like Omega 3 oils, zinc can help prevent inflammation though the creation of anti-inflammatory cytokines.

Zinc has also been shown to have protective properties, particularly for coronary artery disease and can help improve cardiac function.

Found in: Pumpkin seeds, nuts, and seeds, shellfish.

6. Vitamin C

A powerful antioxidant, vitamin C, alongside vitamin E, Zinc and Co-Q10 work together to help protect you from cardiovascular disease and cellular damage.

Vitamin C has also been shown to help lower LDL cholesterol, whilst also significantly helping to improve HDL levels, as a result, those who have higher levels of vitamin C in their diet, have less risk of heart attacks and strokes.

Found in: Fresh fruit, particularly berries, parsley, red onions.
7. Vitamin E

Known for its antioxidant and protective properties, Vitamin E can also help reduce LDL cholesterol and increase HDL levels.

It can also help improve endothelial cell function.

However, to gain optimum benefit from vitamin E, you also need to have a good source of vitamin C, selenium and Co-Q10 in your diet.

Found in: Avocados, nuts, and seeds.

8. Selenium

It has been documented that those who have a low level of selenium has a higher risk of heart disease.

Selenium needs to work alongside vitamin E, vitamin C and Co-Q10, so before you reach for a selenium-rich supplement, you may want to consider a more general antioxidant as well as increasing your antioxidant-rich foods.

Found In: Brazil nuts, seaweed.

9. Probiotics

You wouldn’t necessarily relate a lack of healthy gut bacteria and heart disease, however, studies have shown that poor gut health (especially leaky gut syndrome which many of us suffer due to overexposure to wheat) can create systemic inflammation.

Weakened gut health can also lead to poor absorption of nutrients, which in turn can also affect heart health as well as lower the immune system.

Found in: Fermented foods such as yoghurt, sauerkraut, tempeh, kefir.

Beware that supermarket probiotic yogurt drinks can contain a huge amount of sugar and research has shown the active probiotic may not reach the lower intestine.

If you’re concerned about gut health, I would advise taking a probiotic capsule. I would recommend Nutrigold Acidophilus.

10. Allicin
This is the compound found in garlic, the one responsible for the garlic smell.

However, it also has a powerful effect on our heart health and blood pressure, as it can help relax the blood vessels and improve blood flow.

Eat garlic every day in foods, crushing it gently and leaving for 15 minutes before using is said to enhance its effects

Found in: Garlic. I prefer to use garlic in my food, but you can take a daily supplement, though I would not recommend an odorless variety as this may reduce the allicin content.

11. Lycopene

Lycopene is a carotenoid, which has been shown to help protect against a range of cancers as well as heart disease.

There is strong evidence to show that the intimal wall thickness and risk of myocardial infarction are reduced with higher adipose tissue concentrations of lycopene.

It has many benefits including helping to increase the flexibility of our arteries and improve the function of the endothelial tissue, protecting against arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries).

Found in: Cooked tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, peppers, papaya, watermelon, red cabbage, and asparagus.

For real benefits, I would recommend a daily supplementation of at least 15mg.

One capsule delivers the equivalent of 6lbs of tomatoes.

My favorite is cardiomato as it also contains the essential fats in the form of Vitamin E to aid absorption alongside phytosterols and beta-carotene, one a day high strength capsule.

12. L-Arginine

Studies have shown that L-Arginine can help lower blood pressure.

It can also help protect us against heart disease.

It’s abundant in nuts and research has shown that those who eat more than 5oz of nuts a week have significantly less heart disease.

Found in: Beans, nuts (such as almonds and walnuts), oats and cold-water fish such as salmon, tuna and mackerel.

13. L-Taurine

Taurine plays a vital role in the health of our arteries and general heart health.

Studies have shown that those with lower L-Taurine levels are more susceptible to heart disease.
Found in: Red meat, eggs, seafood.

10 TOP MYTHS ABOUT HIV/AIDS

 HIV/Aids pills

HIV/Aids pills

Original article published by REAL HEALTH TREATMENTS

Beginning to understand the challenges of HIV/AIDS starts by dealing with some of the common myths people tend to believe about the disease. The following are some of the myths and the actual facts about the disease.

1. 1. HIV/AIDS is mostly a disease of homosexual men

Primarily spread by heterosexual sex, HIV/AIDS now infects as many women as men worldwide. Although the disease was first recognized in the United States among gay men, it is also significantly spread among IV drug users. Internationally, it is more often a disease of heterosexuals.

2. HIV/AIDS is mostly an African problem.

Found in every country in the world, HIV infections are growing most rapidly in countries outside of Africa, including India and Russia. Many African countries have been decimated by HIV/AIDS, but the impact is also significant in Asia, Eastern Europe, and India.

3. HIV/AIDS spreads mostly because of poor moral choices

Women are often infected by their husbands. Children most often contract HIV by being born to HIV+ mothers. It isn’t helpful or meaningful to determine who is at fault or who is an innocent victim.

4. Plenty of money is being spent on fighting HIV/AIDS.

While a great deal of money is being spent by governments, private organizations, and individuals to fight HIV/AIDS, much more is needed.

5. HIV/AIDS is no longer a problem in developed countries like Canada, the United States e.t.c.

Because medications (Antiretrovirals or ARVs) are widely available in developed countries, the death rate has decreased. But the number of people living with HIV/AIDS has not decreased and the rate of new infections is not declining.

6. ARVs are widely available

While antiretrovirals are becoming more available, they are still difficult to find in many rural areas and in some countries. Both drugs and systems to distribute them are needed in many poor countries.

7. A cure exists for HIV/AIDS

While there are treatments to prolong life, there is no cure. Many scientists are working on a cure but few believe there will ever be one way to effectively cure someone because the virus constantly changes.

8. There is no hope for those with HIV/AIDS

Great progress is being made in treatments and the rate of infant infection in some countries is dropping rapidly. There is also a dropping rate of new infections in many countries with strong prevention programs.

9. If I’m not HIV+, the disease doesn’t affect me

The high rate of HIV/AIDS infections is causing instability in many countries and reversing the progress made in development. It is also causing a worldwide tuberculosis pandemic. Every community is affected. A pandemic affects everyone even if not immediately recognized.

10. There’s nothing I can do

Everyone can do something. First, become educated. Then help teach others in your church, school, and community. Begin to care and pray about how you and your church, school, and community can become involved.

Begin to share your knowledge with your peers to help break HIV stigma and the discrimination that exists in most communities today and to encourage others to be a part of this fight to end the stigma of those affected or infected with HIV/AIDS.

ARE AFRICANS THE STRONGEST CREATURES ON EARTH?

The lies ruining society

The lies ruining society

Journalism is the activity of news gathering, assessing, creating, and presenting the information to the general public. That’s the simplest way I can define this profession. But there is more involved in this profession. They are dishonesty, hypocrisy and blatant lies, which have caused the loss of trust of viewers and readers.

The European and American media will let you understand that Africa is the most dangerous continent in the world, yet violence and the high rate of crime in America exceed the crime rate in Africa. How many Africans keep pistol or guns in their homes, like Americans? Africa needs an answer.

The Western and America media will let you understand that Africa is a continent that lacks education, affected by corruption, poverty and plagued by diseases, such as malaria, Ebola, Aids, Lassa fever and other deadly diseases. But the teenage pregnancy threatening Europe, especially Britain alone, is overwhelming.

Thus, if lack of education is one of the causes of teenage pregnancy, then are African teenagers more intelligent than British teenagers?

SLAVERY AND MEDICAL CRIMES

Throughout Europe and America, the only definition a child knows about Africa is: ‘A poor continent.’ But for ages, there is no European and American journalist intelligent enough to ask: How are we going to cope up, handle or survive, if the calamities which had fallen on Africa in the past and present fall on us?

In this way, we need to learn from Africa how we can survive in times of adversity. Americans were scared to death when a Liberian was diagnosed with Ebola on American soil, while Africa is painstakingly dealing with this medical crime in West Africa with courage.

The Africa continent has suffered slavery and all kinds of terrorism and persecutions during the colonial era, shaping the pattern of  lives of its citizens, both psychologically and physically, making Africans one of the strongest and toughest creatures living on the planet today.

National Geography are documentary films showing how to survive when lost in the desert and mountains, but Africans already live in the desert and in the mountains.

In some villages in Africa, many haven’t seen electricity before, yet they are happy and each day, they follow their normal activities. Which European or American can live a normal life without electricity in his or her entire life?

Endurance, pain, and experience have structured the African continent in a way that they could stand the hardest conditions. This is the reason Africa is still standing on its feet despite every evil thing they’ve experienced in the hands of Europeans and Americans.

Europe and America knew a long time ago, the incredible strength of Africa, but they are scared and find it embarrassing and a sort of a disgrace to learn how Africans survive on that harsh continent. Instead, they planned to cause confusion, depopulate and destroy the continent to make its citizens unhealthy.

SUICIDE RATE IN EUROPE AND AMERICA

Despite all the problems that Africans face daily, only a few commit suicide. This should be something to inspire Europe and America to find out: How and why only a few people take their lives in Africa so that we could learn something from them?

Europe and America politicians and the media will never do that, instead, they always try to find a way to inflict pain and destruction against Africans.

Below is the ‘World Suicide Rate’ per country published by The Washington Post.

Suicide rates per 100,000 people

 Notes: Data is for 2005.

Readers you can see that there is no African country mentioned in this suicide list. It is time for the European and American media to respect Africa and stop underestimating the continent. Africa may not have powerful weapons and ammunition like Europe and America, Africa may be poorer than Europe and America, Africa may have weak and fragile health-care systems.

Yet Africans are a hundred percent physically and psychologically strong than Europeans and Americans. The world should know this because of the bias European and American media won’t tell you.

PARENTS, LET YOUR EYES BE ON YOUR CHILDREN

Children often become victims of abuse

Children often become victims of abuse

Give them an inch, they take a yard, give them a yard; they take a mile, that’s how the world goes from bad to worse daily without any solution.

There is no doubt, we are now living in a very dangerous world which demands, ‘What are we living for when the world is not getting any better and how often do we speak to our children about those threatening dangers?

As a father with three children, nothing scares me more than the future of my children, especially my third son who is just seven. Europe is a good place, in regard to education, but very bad for moral issues.

Here the law permits a child to have a boyfriend or girlfriend at the age of sixteen. A child begins to smoke while at school. Such things do not exist in Africa.

I feel bad sometimes because I don’t have a daughter. However; I feel okay with three boys because it is very difficult to raise a girl in Europe as an African. Consumed by the Western life, nothing keeps them sober or obedient.

I know many Africans who can’t handle the outrageous the character of their daughters, sometimes ending up at the police and the social offices.

Violence, crime, and immorality are some of the disturbing issues parents are concerned about. In the neighborhood lurks pedophile trying to harm your children.

The news we read pertaining to the crime adults, especially men, commit against children, immediately aware our consciousness that probably the world is gradually coming to an end because the prophecies in the Bible are taking place one after another.

The European Commission showed a 77 percent increase in murders, robberies, assaults, and sexual offenses in the UK since Labour came to power.

The total number of violent offenses recorded compared to population is higher than any other country in Europe, as well as America, Canada, Australia, and South Africa. This is the information I gathered during my study of crime in Europe recently.

Little Joe

Little Joe

Parents are the greatest influence on their children. Children learn to talk, walk, and interact by watching their parents. As a child grows up, he or she looks to the parents to provide guidance, information, nurturing, and expectations.

I once went on the internet showing the death of many children to Little Joe, my son. After watching in bewilderment, he asked: “Papa what happened to them?”

“Adults they trusted killed them,” I answered.

“Thank you, Papa, I would be careful.’ He said. Whether I did a wrong thing or not, that doesn’t bother me, all that I want him to understand is the dangers in this world, especially on the computer for him to be careful.

Street Children: Is Bringing Up A Child Tougher Than Child Delivery?

Conflicts in Africa have taken thousands of children out of school as child-soldiers

Conflicts in Africa have taken thousands of children out of school as child-soldiers

It is only a woman that can tell the pain she goes through during child delivery. Some women take rings off from finger to throw at husbands, because of the pain they go through during childbirth. After delivery, they take back the ring and put on the finger again.

Giving birth to a child isn’t easy, yet there are so many motherless and fatherless children roaming on the streets, especially in Third World Countries, including Africa.

If one does not really need a child, why should parents bring them into the world to suffer? Training and caring for children, in terms of feeding, clothing, education and health care, have never been a simple task.

It is better for parents to prevent an unwanted pregnancy than to give birth to a child to become a menace to society. How can a child learn how to read when he or she is far from the classroom?

An Eastern University in America conducted a study on the impact made on children by various forces in society. The study revealed that 31 percent of the influence on a child was attributed to his years, 16 percent came from his school and other organizations. While 53 percent of the impact on his life came from his home.

The duty of bringing up a child is surely the toughest task in the world and quite frankly, it takes knowledge and wisdom to raise up a child.

The inability of parents to take proper care of their children has caused many children to roam on the streets. Neglected children sometimes grow up to be juvenile criminals and delinquents.

When You Look Into The Mirror, Tell Me What Do You See?

That's how hypocrites look like in the mirror

That's how hypocrites look like in the mirror

I am neither a poet, psychologist nor clairvoyant, but I am worried about the direction this world is heading to. I’m baffled over the constant decaying of our society.

Many feel okay with it and don’t care much, but I do because I have children and when the rain falls, it doesn’t fall on one man’s roof. Everyone gets his or her share of the menace of society when trouble explodes.

There are many people in jail over crimes, while there are real criminals in white-collar jobs, sitting at the offices with impunity. In fact, it’s not only those who commit crimes are criminals, but also those who knew about the crime but cover-up. At times I wake up in the morning and feel the thunderous beat of my heart in my chest, like someone who is expecting to go to jail over a crime, yet I haven’t committed any crime.

It was during one of those experiences I wrote this article, “When You Look Into The Mirror, Tell Me What Do You See?”

Everyone has a mirror at home, even in modern toilets mirrors are available to take a good look at yourself before stepping out. When you wake up in the morning, after taking your bath and putting on your beautiful dress, shirt, and trousers, surely you go in front of the mirror to have a glance at yourself, when satisfied before ever stepping on the street.

The image in the mirror reflects on your sincereness and dishonesty

However, in front of the mirror, tell me what do you see? Your own image, isn’t it? Do you love or hate yourself? Does your heart accommodate hatred against your neighbor, co-worker or your boss? The heart can’t accommodate hatred, then love your neighbor at the same time, because hate and love can’t dwell in the same heart.

The image in the mirror reflects on your sincereness and dishonesty

When you look into the mirror, tell me, what do you see? Your own image, isn’t it? But do you cheat on your husband or wife? If you do, are you happy? Believe me, you will be happier if you don’t involve in such activity. Many people think they can be happy when they cheat. You are only inviting unhappiness into your life.

When you look into the mirror, tell me what do you see? Your own image, isn’t it? But how sincere are you the way you want everyone around you to know? Are you a parrot at work, undermining your colleague to be fired, because you hate her or you are speaking well about her to gain promotion?

When you look into the mirror, tell me, what do you see? Your own image, isn’t it? Remember there will be time; you can’t see that image anymore, because this world is not our own, we are just passing through. (Tribute to Jim Reeves) But before we finally leave, ask yourself, did I made others happy or miserable?

Your answer would let you be happy or sad in your grave.

STAYING HEALTHY: THE DANGERS OF EATING OUT

Eating at home is more healthy than outside

Eating at home is more healthy than outside

If you want to eat better and stay healthy, eat at home. Eating out can eventually take its toll. Here’s how: dinners have no control over many aspects of the food they are about to consume.

For starters, the menu may not be accurate; for example, the menu may say wild-caught salmon while it was really farm-raised salmon where conditions are known to be less than ideal for raising fish.

Or, it could be worse… where the salmon is cloned. Costco and many other major retailers have refused to carry cloned salmon.

Poultry and eggs may be from chickens jammed into crowded pen conditions instead of being free-range chickens.

The chickens may be raised in the US, but shipped to China for processing where the US has little control over sanitary conditions. You wouldn’t think it makes economic sense to ship chicken back and forth across the Pacific ocean, but it does

Beef may be from suppliers outside the US where antibiotics and hormones are routinely used to produce faster-growing and fatter beef.  By the way, the US Congress recently passed a law to allow suppliers to remove the country of origin label (COOL) from beef and pork meats.

Also, China plans on producing hundreds of thousands of cloned beef to make up for food shortages. How will American consumers respond if and when presented with cloned beef?

BLACK HISTORY: ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA

Racism at school

Racism at school

Elizabeth Ann Eckford, a student and a key figure at the Little Rock Central High School is pictured being followed, booed, and yelled at by a mob of whites.

She was among the group of the nine African-American students famous for having desegregated the school in 1957. A closer look at the lady on the right, you can see the chilling, unreasonable dislike in her eyes. This reflects on the history of Apartheid Education in America.

In the deep sea, the big fish has no sympathy for the helpless small fish. They intimidate the small ones and always try to eat them up.

That was once the hostile situation in America years back, in every sector, including the educational sector, against African-Americans.

It’s very embarrassing to see such images in America, a country that believes in democracy, above all they say: In God We Trust.

The more disturbing factor is, America provided a “safe haven” in the United States for Nazi criminals and their collaborators after World War II, yet subjected African-Americans to abuse, discrimination, lynching, experimentation, and slavery.

Abolition of slavery is a fact recorded in history, but the reality is, it still exists in many places around the globe, including America today because we live in a violent and corrupt society.

How many years now did America start fighting against an illegal drug entering its sovereignty? Because of corruption, the country is plagued by cocaine and other dangerous drugs, drastically taking its toll on many citizens.

There was a time if you are an honest hard worker, with distinguished achievements in the society, you will be awarded, but now those who commit serious crimes against humanity are those that receive that awards, including the Nobel Prize.

Among the ring of liars, if you want to remain different and live in truth, you will eventually become an enemy.

Do you feel this world is okay? Are you happy about the turmoil and the path of doom the world has taken? Why are politicians fighting for power when they don’t have any means to save this world?

Nothing in this world seems to be going better or doing well. Everything has taken the wrong path.

Whether Africans were used as Guinea pigs in testing drugs, whether Aids, Ebola, Lassa, and other deadly diseases, were bio-weapons against Africans to depopulate the continent, or whether African-Americans were used for experimentation, the Black man has survived today. That power wasn’t strong enough to wipe out the black race.

Black history is a sad song and a rough road. Even though it’s like an image hanging on the wall, the Black man should change that sad song to a happy song and straighten up that rough road ahead of him. We should let go of hatred, jealousy, racism, racial discrimination, and hypocrisy to embrace love in our community.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” — 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8a.

Sitting Here In Limbo: Got Some Time To Search My Soul- Jimmy Cliff

Jimmy Cliff

Jimmy Cliff

Reggae music is inspirational. It is a music that carries Jah’s prophetical message, the truth, and the light. It’s a music that gives comfort and satisfaction to sufferers, the downtrodden victims, and gives hope to the common people denied justice and abuse in the society.

I love reggae music because it gives me the inspiration to write without ceasing. Just as I love the music, the same way I love the artists and the players of the instruments behind the music.

Jimmy Cliff is one of my favorite reggae artists. I love almost all his songs but not more than this great song called ‘Sitting Here In Limbo.’

Sitting here in limbo
But I know it won’t be long
Sitting here in limbo
Like a bird without a song
Well, they’re putting up a resistance
But I know that my faith will lead me on

Sitting here in limbo
Waiting for the dice to roll
Yeah, now, sitting here in limbo
Got some time to search my soul
Well, they’re putting up a resistance
But I know that my faith will lead me on

I don’t know where life will leave me
But I know where I have been
I can’t say what life will show me
But I know what I have seen
Tried my hand at love and friendship
But all that is past and gone
This little boy is movin’ on

Sitting here in limbo
Waiting for the tide to flow
Sitting here in limbo
Knowing that I have to go
Well, they’re putting up a resistance
But I know that my faith will lead me on

I don’t know where life will take me
But I know where I have been
I don’t know what life will show me
But I know what I have seen
Tried my hand at love and friendship
That is past and gone
And now it’s time to move along

Gonna lead me on now
Meanwhile, they’re putting up resistance
But I know that my faith will lead me on
Sitting in limbo, limbo, limbo
Sitting in limbo, limbo, limbo
Sitting in limbo, limbo, limbo
Meanwhile, they’re putting up a resistance
But I know that my faith will lead me on
