JESUS SAID THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE, THAT IS AN ENDLESS SPIRITUAL FREEDOM

One of Jesus' miracles, walking on the sea

One of Jesus' miracles, walking on the sea

While preaching the word of God, Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him that “If you remain faithful to my word, you will truly be my disciples; you will know the truth and the truth will make you free”

Jesus was talking about spiritual freedom, but till today, many still don’t understand.

Jesus knew that if we proclaim the truth, the world will hate us. He confirms it by saying that “You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”

In fact, many continue to suffer, be oppressed, and even killed for the truth; therefore, he was talking about spiritual freedom. Real freedom doesn't exist, and it will never be so far as the world has monsters living amongst us as human beings.

Just as many are confused today about this statement Jesus made thousands of years ago, the same Jews misunderstood and answered him, “We are descendants of Abraham and have never been slaves to anyone. How can you say you will become free?”

Jesus replied, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever sins is a slave to sin. Now the slave does not stay in the house forever, but the son always stays there; so if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. What a great man, full of unparalleled wisdom!

The biblical stories, whether tampered with or fabricated fantasy stories, as atheists want us to believe or accept, remain the best book to read. The bible has transformed many lost souls and brought the prodigal sons and daughters back home to their distraught parents.

The bible has given hope, comfort, and salvation to many who previously contemplated committing suicide because of hardships, crimes, cruelties, oppression, suffering, and diseases that have plagued mankind from generation to generation.

Out of love, God offers his only Son as a sacrifice, for our salvation. Jesus performed many miracles. He raises the dead; spreads the Gospel to every corner of the world with his disciples. He walks on the waters, defends the oppressed and the persecuted. That wasn’t the end; he feeds five thousand people with five loaves and two fish and casts out demons.

Today, we are witnessing a different world. Churches, government officials, politicians, etc, put their hands on the bible to swear oaths, later they mock the bible and do things contrary to what is written in the holy book.

Nobody apart from Jesus raised the dead, yet today, there are people in our midst who decide who must live and die. A man kills his wife for life insurance; a woman kills her husband to inherit the property both have worked hard for.

Armed robbers kill a couple, steal money, and snatch away a car. These are the disturbing news we receive daily from many parts of the world.

Despite Jesus assuring us that the truth shall set us free, it’s sad to narrate the tragedies, suffering, killings, oppression, domination, and the psychological torture, many have experienced because of the simple truth.

From the past generation to the current, if you don’t join the empire of deceitful enemies to sing their choruses of lies, hypocrisy, deceptions, and clandestine crimes, you are considered a threat and dangerous to society.

Since it takes courage to speak the truth, many are scared, and therefore, don’t want to be hurt, injured, lose their friends, or killed; thus, many have become chronic liars till the time they will depart from this earth.

As a believer of the scriptures myself, there are great words, Psalms, etc, that give us the nourishment, courage, hope, joy, and happiness to endure such oppressions that many can’t handle.

Whether the great stories in the bible are true or not, our faith in them has worked for us for decades; therefore, we are neither going to deny the Highest nor the Holy Bible.

This is one of the reasons, despite the harsh experiences Africans have passed through, the suicide rate on that continent is lower than that of Europe and America.

We are all facing the toughest time in this coronavirus pandemic. As a matter of fact, it’s not the wearing of the mouth mask that can save you.

It is not the observation of the social distancing rules that can save you, and surely, it’s not the recommended vaccination that can save your life, because we have obeyed all these health rules, yet the infections keep rising daily across the world.

Continue to obey those recommended health rules, but look unto God for your survival because there are more lies and deceptions associated with the coronavirus than the truth.

We were told it kills old people, but today we know that the disease kills the poor, rich, old, young, including children.

Let God be your shield if all medical recommendations and rules have failed, because the assurance God gives us is “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Highest will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

FOR ALL WHO TAKE THE SWORD WILL PERISH BY THE SWORD - JESUS

Those who shed the blood of innocent people have indelible bloodstains on their hands.

Those who shed the blood of innocent people have indelible bloodstains on their hands.

When Jesus' purpose of life on earth was coming to an end, to fulfill the scriptures, his enemies came forward to seize him after a betrayal kiss. But one of those with Jesus reached out for his sword to strike the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.

Then Jesus said, "Put your sword back in its place, for all who draw the sword will die by the sword." It is often said that the best book to read is the Bible. This is true, but the question is, how often do people observe or obey what is written in the Bible? Again, for those interested in the Bible, do they understand the scriptures when reading them?

The world is full of crime and violence today because the Bible makes us understand that "from the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it." Matthew 11:12. This Scripture means that crime and violence can’t be eradicated from society, but surely, they can be reduced.

However, from every angle, we can clearly see that the fight against crime, violence, and all kinds of nefarious activities affecting our society has been a total failure. Why, worldwide, do governments invest large sums of money into security, yet crime and violence have increased so rapidly that everyone now lives in fear and anxiety?

There are certain issues that many writers are not interested in writing about, especially religion, because many people are pagans; they don't believe in the Bible or are not interested in the Scriptures, or the writers feel shy about writing about God.

But those who use the Bible, including politicians and judges, mustn't underestimate the contents of the holy book because by doing so, they continue to pile up curses and burdens on their heads, which not only affect them but the entire world.

"For all who take the sword will perish by the sword." This statement by Jesus has a broader meaning than what people can think of. In other words, "What one sows, the same he shall reap," or people will receive the same payment for the evil they do to others.

You don't have to underestimate the Scriptures because one will surely get the feedback of whatever evil you do to others, no matter how long it takes, probably while living or dead. People, politicians, judges, etc., all use the Bible, but they often forget that in the Bible it is written:

Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man his blood will be shed; for in His own image God has made mankind.” Genesis 9:6 and “Whoever strikes and kills a man must surely be put to death.” Exodus 21:12.

Therefore, politicians and scientists creating biological weapons to kill innocent people through depopulation programs and continually deceiving the public that monkeys, bats, and poverty are the causes, should know in advance the infinite curses they have piled upon their heads.

They can sleep, enjoy their wives, and put a smile on their faces, yet they don't have inner peace. They are so worried and restless in life that they think the best thing to do to get some rest is to fight the truth or suppress information.

These things don't help; yes, fighting the truth and the suppression of information don't help. The only thing to give them the rest they are desperately looking for is to stop committing clandestine crimes and confess.

I know that they know, and they know that I know that they are suffering and restless, with their hearts pounding in their chests like those that concluded a marathon in New York. Innocent blood can never be shed, and nobody in life can take the life of a person prematurely. Once in such a crime, you must consider yourself or your country a doomed nation.

And woe to the media and people admiring these thieves and murderers, abetting and aiding crimes, for your days are numbered. "No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish." Luke 13:3. I am not the one saying this; it's from the Bible. It's your choice, politicians and governments: obey or ignore.

There are many ways to educate the public to reduce the population; clandestine depopulation through biological weapons is a serious crime against humanity.

APARTHEID STILL EXISTS TODAY IN DIFFERENT VERSIONS

The symbol of apartheid dividing people to answer nature's call

The symbol of apartheid divides people in answering nature's call.

The bible is the best book to read, even though many don't value it. That book can transform a man to be upright, sincere, truthful, faithful, and spiritually strong in whatever he does.

However, there are certain quotations in the holy book that I am not happy about. It may likely be that the scripture was tampered with, and a few things in it were changed for the white man to dominate black people.

For example, in the time of Jesus, there wasn't any camera; therefore, who saw Jesus and all his images appear to be a white man in today's modern scriptures? I guess the person who took Jesus Christ's photo also met the devil that tempted Jesus, and he gave him a snap. He was black.

According to Genesis 1:27, "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." While in the same bible in Ephesians 6:5, it reads, "Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ."

The question I need an answer to, but never found, is if "God created man in His own image, then who is the master and who is the slave?" Studying the bible thoroughly, you can even discover some of the scriptures about discrimination and racism.

One specific example is in Song of Solomon 1:6, "Do not stare at me because I am dark, because I am darkened by the sun. My mother's sons were angry with me and made me take care of the vineyards; my own vineyard I had to neglect."

If I am right, based on the scripture above, Western Europe and the US governments were very angry with Africans because of the color of their skin and subjected a whole race to all kinds of cruelties, including slavery, colonial brutality, segregation, Apartheid, and the deliberate infection of diseases.

No person in this world would treat his fellow human being in such a manner if he or she has a love for that person. Africans are never loved, else there would never be a statue of a lunatic king who maimed and killed millions in Africa, including women and children.

Despite all this, they hate it when you speak the truth about the horrible crimes they committed against Africans. This is something I don't understand. Why do you have the delight of committing a crime? And why are you happy to see the country you once colonized suffering, yet wouldn't like the truth to be spoken?

I can't imagine African leaders taking possession of Europe, then dividing the people, telling them, This is the queue of the white man at the post office and that for the black man. This is the toilet for the white man to 'shit' and that for the black man. White only swimming pool and black only, etc.

This is what happened yesterday, during the Apartheid era, and still exists today in a modern version in some European countries and the United States of America. In many Western European countries, true justice is never given to the black man.

Western European Governments and the US must ponder over the years and take the endless crimes they have committed in Africa into consideration. The continent that is your obsession to destroy continues to provide you with all your rich mineral resources today to maintain a flourishing economy.

As for Africans and their leaders, it's their actions and thinking that will justify who we are. If you want to be a doormat, people will walk on you, and if you prove to be intelligent, you will repel the oppressors. If any of you lack courage, I will wake all of you from decades of long sleep with the words of the great Steve Biko of South Africa.

Steve Biko said, "Black consciousness seeks to talk to the black man in a language of his own. It is only by making familiar the basic setup in the black world that one will be aware of the urgent need for the reawakening of the sleeping masses."

"He stressed, "It urges black people to judge themselves as human beings and not to be fooled by the white society, which has white-washed itself to enjoy privileges at the expense of blacks; Biko pointed out that the logic behind white domination is to prepare the Blackman to serve and give him respect."

The stone the builders refused at long last became the cornerstone. The world is rapidly changing. Who knows, Africa will one day be a haven for Europeans and Americans? A word to the wise is enough.

HOW THE FEAR OF SPEAKING THE TRUTH HAS RUINED SOCIETY

To some people, lie is a perfume they need to use every day

To some people, lying is a perfume they need to use every day

.
The ‘Truth’ is not a commodity sold at the shop; it’s just an act of not lying about something but giving an accurate account, yet only a few can afford it, and those who can afford it often find themselves in a very tight corner, not easy to free themselves.

In John chapter 8:32, Jesus said, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” How often do we ponder or reason over Jesus’ Biblical quotes? Jesus knows that the truth exists, but people will never rely on or depend on it.

The reason our society is torn apart today because it’s in the hands of people under the influence of Satan, so the need to lie is necessary to please both Satan and the people they serve. And since many are not ready to be ‘ruled’ by the doctrine of the scriptures, they join Satan’s company.

Romans 6:23 reveals that: “For the wages of sin are death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” This means that death is inevitable because of our sinful nature, yet we need to live in the truth.

Speaking the truth at the moment is not only costly but deadly. Worldwide, many have been assassinated for speaking the truth about something heads of churches, leaders, and politicians wouldn’t like the public to know. Thus, instead of speaking the truth, many prefer to lie.

Jesus knew already that physically the truth would not set you free, that freedom he was talking about was spiritual freedom. Just as He suffered for speaking the truth, the fear of speaking the truth haunts many people.

Who is ready to lose his friends, relatives, and job because of the truth? Who is ready to pass through the mental torture of neglect in society because of the truth? Finally, who is ready to face the hostile opposition and pure hate from an empire of deceitful enemies and a brood of vipers because of the truth?

However, what many people forget is that, like a house that collapses because of its weak foundation, society can never thrive, prosper, and be successful on a foundation of lies, hypocrisy, and the persecution of those who live on the truth.

You may think you are on top and successful, then suddenly you’ll see yourself once again at the same place you started. That is life, you can’t change that until you live clean.

And for those who are facing all kinds of intimidation, suffering, and persecution because of the truth, stand firm with endurance and perseverance. Even though the pain you are going through is hard to bear sometimes, be happy because of the truthful path you’ve chosen.

If those who live by the sword die by the sword and gun by the gun, then liars will not have a happy ending, too, because God hates lies.

DID JESUS TRULY DIE ON THE CROSS?

The controversy surrounding how Jesus died

The controversy surrounding how Jesus died

Even though the cross is loved and respected by thousands of Christians worldwide, true Christians are far away from the cross and have nothing to do with it. How can that be? One significant reason is that Jesus didn’t die on the cross.

The Greek translates ‘Cross’ – ‘Stau-ros’. This means that an upright pole or stake. The Companion Bible states that ‘Stau-ros’ never means two pieces of wood or timber placed across one another at any angle.

Hermann Fulda’s book ‘The Cross and the Crucifixion’ states that Trees weren’t available everywhere at the public places chosen for execution, so a single beam was sunk into the ground.

On this beam, outlaws' hands are raised, and often their feet are bound or nailed. To confirm the truth that Jesus didn’t die on the cross, the Apostle Paul said:

Christ by purchase released us from the curse of the law, by becoming cursed instead of us because it is written “Accursed is every man hanged upon a stake (tree-King James Version)” Galatians 3:13.

In Deuteronomy 21:22, Paul’s quote clearly refers to a stake, not the cross. Since anyone who dies on a pole, beam, stick, wood, tree, etc, is cursed, it wouldn’t be appropriate for Christians or churches to decorate walls or homes with cross symbols.

The New Catholic Encyclopedia admits, the cross is found in both pre-Christian and non-Christian cultures. It was rather linked to pagan sex rites. Above all, the scriptures also warn against all kinds of idolatry. (Exodus 20:4, 5; 1 Corinthians 10:14).

With such good reasons, true Christians don’t use the cross in worship.  One of those churches that have nothing to do with the cross is ‘The Jehovah's Witnesses.’

The Truth About Jesus: He Is Still Alive

Jesus loves children

Jesus loves children

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

That’s one of the numerous quotes from Jesus, recorded in Matthew 7:7-8. Apart from “Love thy Neighbor as thyself,” I consider this particular quote recorded in Matthew 7:7-8 as one of the most powerful gospel quotes by Jesus.

Imagine, can you know the deliciousness of food when you haven’t tasted it? Without making a journey to a place, how can you know the beauty of that place, because pictures aren’t enough?

Without reading the Bible to understand the gospel, to seek the face of Jesus, how can you know him? It’s necessary to search for something before you can find it, isn’t it?

Again, when you need something without asking, how do you receive it? And when you are entering the house of your neighbor, you may stand behind the door for hours, if you don’t knock on the door to be welcomed. “Blessed are pure of heart, for they shall see God.”

If you want to know someone, then let it be your goal to search for ample information about that person. The same applies to Jesus; if you search for him, you will not only know about him but you will find him.

Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh, how they were related to the Life of Jesus Christ

A gold nugget

A gold nugget

Many famous people have lived in the past. One of such is Jesus Christ. The story of this man, born in Bethlehem, was prophesied many years ago by different prophets.

Over 700 years ago in advance, the prophet Micah prophesied that the birth of the Messiah would take place in Bethlehem. Another prophecy, many centuries ago, is recorded in Daniel 9:25. The fulfillment of all these prophecies identifies how genuine the Holy Bible is.

Jesus in reality was really born in Ephrata Bethlehem and was visited by the three wise men. The wise men presented to the child gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

These gifts were Biblically recorded, but what was the significance of each of them to Jesus? There might have been many wise men in the time of Jesus' birth, but those three who presented the gift were special and highly intelligent men who knew who Jesus was and how his life's journey would begin and end.

The first gift, ‘Gold,’ signifies the royal nature of Christ. He is the anointed one, the king of kings, and the Messiah. He was to lead the people as he was sent by his Father.

His followers were the Apostles, whom Jesus gave the power and authority to make his work easier and to spread the good news. The Bible records that Jesus healed the blind, cured leprosy, healed the lame, and cast away demons. His authority as king was beyond what other kings did.

The second gift was frankincense. What is the significance of frankincense? Has anyone visited the king's palace in the Middle East before?

Frankincense is one of the oldest aromatics known to history. The aroma is wonderful. Egyptian, Greek, and Arabian peoples enjoyed the aroma of frankincense and used it to fumigate their homes. This portrays the background of Jesus' royalty.

The last gift, which is myrrh, signifies the suffering, pain, and death Jesus Christ was going to pass through. The book of Mark notes that when Jesus was dying on the cross, he was offered some wine mixed with myrrh to ease the pain.

John also records that Nicodemus brought a mixture of 75 pounds of myrrh and aloes to anoint Jesus’ body when it was laid in the tomb. Jesus Christ was truly the savior and the messiah.

FAITH: THE COMFORT OF LIFE, THAT MANY IGNORE

Miracles happen

'
Miracles happen

"Then he touched their eyes and said, 'Because of your faith, it will happen." Then their eyes were opened, and they could see! Jesus sternly warned them, 'Don't tell anyone about this." But instead, they went out and spread his fame all over the region." Matthew Ch 9, 29-31.

Faith is reliance, trust, and belief in religious doctrine. It is not an object or substance that can be seen or touched, but evidence of things hoped for. The question is "Does faith or believing in something really work? Yes, it does.

The world is full of many writers. Every writer has his or her own interesting subject to write about. Some of them are fiction, and others are events based on true accounts. I love to write things that are related to my personal life rather than taking stories from somewhere.

I grew up in Africa, a continent everyone knows how tough it is like a place with 'Third World Countries,' and to the best of my memory, what kept me strong and alive in that harsh continent was nothing else than "Faith." It was my sword, shield, armor, protector, and redeemer.

I have hundreds of 'faith' related success stories to tell, but I would like to share this. I have no money, yet I want 110 euros to pay for the cost of books my son is using at a school he was attending in Antwerp, Belgium. I received a second letter reminding me of this payment, as the time to pay the amount was overdue.

I prayed and had faith in myself that I would get the money to pay the school, even though I didn't know where the money was coming from. The next day, I was on my bicycle to work. It was winter and very dark at 5 AM, but the lights of my bicycle were very good, therefore I could see the bicycle lane clearly.

Then on the cycle lane, I spotted something like a folded note. I quickly stopped and turned back to where the object lay. (I wasn't sure it was money, so I can't say where the money lies) But when I took it, I realized that it was money. When I unfolded it, it was exactly 115Euro. The next day, I paid the money to the school.

Here, my 'Faith' has rewarded me with 115 euros. Another point is, a miracle of all miracles has taken place. I needed 110Euro, but I received 115 Euros. An additional 5 Euros could provide me with a few things at the supermarket.

Why don't many people have faith, even though having one doesn't cost anything? Some believe in chariots, horses, guns, wealth, and friends. As for me and my family, we don't believe in any of them than 'Faith.' Try God's or Jesus' love when everything fails. That's where your gift of 'Faith' would be born.
