ARCHIVE OF RACIAL TENSION IN AMERICA

Her crime was being black in a white-dominated educational institution

Her crime was being black in a white-dominated educational institution.

In the deep sea, the big fish has no sympathy for the helpless small fish. They intimidate the small ones and always try to eat them up. That was once the hostile situation in America years back, in every sector, including the educational sector, against African Americans.

It’s very embarrassing to see such images in America, a country that believes in democracy, above all, they say: In God We Trust.

The more disturbing factor is, America provided a “haven” in the United States for Nazis criminals and their collaborators after World War II, yet subjected African-Americans to abuse, discrimination, lynching, experimentation, and slavery.

The abolition of slavery is a fact recorded in history, but the reality is, it still exists in many places around the globe, including America today, because we live in a violent and corrupt society.

How many years now has America been fighting against the illegal drug entering its sovereignty? Because of corruption, the country is plagued by cocaine and other dangerous drugs, drastically taking its toll on many citizens.

There was a time when, if you were an honest hard worker with distinguished achievements in society, you would be awarded, but now those who commit serious crimes against humanity are those who receive those awards, including the Nobel Prize.

Among the ring of liars, if you want to remain different and live in truth, you will eventually become an enemy.

Do you feel this world is okay? Are you happy about the turmoil and the path of doom the world has taken? Why are politicians fighting for power when they don’t have any means to save this world? Nothing in this world seems to be going better or doing well. Everything has taken the wrong path.

Whether Africans were used as Guinea pigs in testing drugs, whether Aids, Ebola, Lassa, and other deadly diseases were bio-weapons against Africans to depopulate the continent, or whether African-Americans were used for experimentation, the Black man has survived today. That power wasn’t strong enough to wipe out the black race.

Black history is a sad song and a rough road. Even though it’s like an image hanging on the wall, the Black man should change that sad song to a happy song and straighten up that rough road ahead of him. We should let go of hatred, jealousy, racism, racial discrimination, and hypocrisy to embrace love in our community.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” — 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

APARTHEID LEADERS MUST FACE PROSECUTION LIKE THE NAZI CRIMINALS

Apartheid South Africa

Apartheid South Africa

In the 1990s, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, chaired by Archbishop Desmond Tutu, granted amnesties to some of the perpetrators of violence and human rights abuses in apartheid-era South Africa.

To forgive, in the sight of the Lord, is better than violence and revenge, but regarding the seriousness of the crime the ex-apartheid leaders committed against the South Africans, it should have been a priority that no one should have escaped prosecution, including other world leaders at that time, like the British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, who supported the brutal government.

Crimes against Black people are not given much attention by the advanced countries. Response and solution always come very late when the result is already disastrous.

But comparing the crime of the Nazi-Germans against the Jews, and that of what was done to the South Africans by apartheid leaders, is almost the same. If investigators are hunting down ex-Nazi criminals to face prosecution, then ex-leaders of apartheid and their dead squad members, too, should face prosecution.

Like the Jews, including children killed in gas chambers, the same "They opened fire. They didn't give any warning. They simply opened fire, and small children, small defenseless children, dropped down like swatted flies. This is murder, cold-blooded murder".

A man like F. W. Klerk, South Africa's last apartheid head of state, doesn't deserve to win a Nobel Peace Prize for ending Apartheid. He escalated the violence against the majority of black South Africans.

When he realized that the world was changing rapidly and there wouldn't be any room for that type of government, he decided to give up. Who is fooling whom?

The Nobel Peace Prize should be handed to people who deserve it, not De Klerk, he was the worst criminal than Adolf Hitler of Germany.

To gain international recognition for African Women in both daily life, social and political activities, Italian cooperation, an integral part of Italy's foreign policy, has announced it is working with over thirty local authorities and hundreds of personalities from Italian and international cultural and entertainment and the civil society on a campaign to promote the candidacy of African women for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The cooperation is called the "NOPPAW" (Nobel Peace Prize for African Women) campaign. The exercise is sponsored by Solidarita' e Cooperazione Cipsi and ChiAma I'Africa with the support of the Italian foreign ministry. The cooperation aims to organize many events around the country to promote African women's growing role across the African continent.

"African women are the continent's compelling leaders, both in daily life, social and political activities," said Guido Barbera, president of Solidarietà e Cooperazione Cipsi, in a statement released by the Italian foreign ministry.

Africa stands on their feet, female entrepreneurs, politicians, promoters of rights, health, peace, and co-existence; it is impossible to imagine the future of Africa without picturing the many ordinary women who carry the weight of this land every day, taking on its tragedies and bearing its hope," Barbera added.

According to the ministry, initiatives will be taken over the coming months, following the campaign's re-launch on International Women's Day, on March 8, 2011, in various regions of Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, and other African countries.

The implementation plans will officially be presented to the European Parliament in Brussels on May 23, 2011, by the Italian Foreign Ministry, with numerous activities throughout the year.
