Child marriage and genderbased violence remain two of the most persistent and devastating human rights violations worldwide. Despite decades of advocacy, millions of girls continue to face forced unions, physical abuse, emotional trauma, and systemic inequality.


These issues are not isolated cultural practices; they are interconnected forms of oppression that shape the trajectory of entire societies. Globally, an estimated 12 million girls are married before the age of 18 every year, according to UNICEF.
