There are many celebrities in prison
Many people aspire to be famous because they receive special attention, are greeted with red carpets at events, and, above all, have millions of fans and admirers. They are also wealthy, so they can travel anywhere in the world.
With that said, I have
a story to share with you. There is a saying in Ghana, where I was born, that
says you should never wish to be someone because you see the person happy and
wealthy, since not everything that glitters is gold. That is accurate.
I wish to convey to my friends or readers that, although many people believe that being a celebrity is all about money, fame, jewels, could afford everything they want and live a luxurious life, being a famous or a celebrity may be a difficult life.
Everything they do is open to public scrutiny, and every decision they make is
rigorously examined. Celebrities are actually followed when they go grocery
shopping, and many of them are unable to walk out on their own without
bodyguards. This is not a happy life.
This is the worst thing that can happen to a famous person. Many earn millions of dollars, attend film premieres, educational and entertainment events, and live in fancy homes and cars that make others wish they could live like them.
I would like to know
why celebrities commit suicide if being a star brings all the enjoyment one
could ever want. Why do famous people end up homeless? Why do famous people
shoplift? Most importantly, why do famous people develop drug addictions?
It will be far easier for a camel to pass through the eye of the needle than for celebrities to tell their fans that they are unhappy. Some people are unable to sleep at all and are dependent on sleeping pills, which eventually start to affect them.
Celebrities
receive invitations and participate in activities throughout the duration of
their lives; as a result, many appear older than the average poor person. Many
are forced to undergo facial surgery, which frequently harms them, because they are afraid of seeming elderly or old, since their followers
mean a lot to them.
Just be who you are; life is not a competition, therefore, don’t compete with anyone. Although the life of a celebrity can be a veritable paradise when viewing the stars on screens or in glossy magazines, not all parts of the world are green.
Though many don't pray, have nothing to do with God, or the Bible, when they
run into issues with unforeseen turns of events, they frequently ask God,
"Why me?" God is spirit; therefore, if you worship in truth, that
spirit will give you happiness and rest.
Being rich is not a
crime as long as you work hard for it, but you must realize that money can’t always
buy true happiness or genuine love. Kindness is what makes life happy,
and you should never treat people the way you wouldn’t like anyone to treat
you. That is the key to contentment.
