BREAK YOURSELF FREE FROM DEPRESSION

Suicide tendencies can be eliminated by seeing the doctor or praying

Suicide tendencies can be eliminated by seeing the doctor or through prayer

Everyone has wonderful hopes, dreams, and expectations of their future, but many times what we are looking for never comes our way. Some of us have been robbed of our joy through the loss of a loved one, and many feel lonely and hopeless when they find themselves in abusive homes and domestic violence.

In such a troubled world, it's very easy to see the ailments of society taking their toll on people. The high rate of unemployment and divorce are also some of the causes leading to depression. It's not surprising that psychologists have confirmed that the ailments of people can be traced to the homes and environments they were raised.

We understand that as human beings, we are bound to face difficulties in our lives. The important question is: How do we handle those problems we experience? According to the World Federation for Mental Health, depression is a significant contributor to the global burden of disease and affects people in all communities across the world.

Today, depression is estimated to affect 350 million people. The World Mental Health Survey conducted in 17 countries found that, on average, about 1 in 20 people reported having an episode of depression. But do you know that you have the power to overcome loneliness and depression?

Why do some people easily succumb to depression, and others don't? Resist? The happy people we often meet on the street are not superhumans. They are only happy because experience in life has taught them that happiness is within oneself. You have the power to make yourself happy or miserable.

Someone can make you unhappy, prevent your success, or do everything to hurt you, but so long as you are a living being, you have the power, desire, inspiration, or everything it takes to liberate yourself from that misery, loneliness, or depression.

Fear, anxiety, depression, and loneliness can be easily prevented than you know. Instead of living on drugs and alcohol, which can rather increase your psychological problems, some recommended steps can keep one far from loneliness and depression.

Reading interesting books as a hobby can capture your imagination to avoid depression.

If you love to stay at home, please cultivate the habit of taking a walk through the gardens, doing window shopping, and joining social clubs. Going to the gym to exercise once or twice a week not only keeps you fit but also psychologically healthy.

You may have a hidden talent, but you don't know. Find out what you are very good at, follow it, and start blogging to create your happiness.

Another important factor is financial matters, which often wear people down psychologically. When facing financial problems, you need a healthy mind to find your way out, not a depressed mind.

I can't do it, I'm not sure I can succeed, there is nothing left for me in life, they are all 'symptoms' of depression. Take away the shackles from your body and free your mind from the psychological chain damaging your health.

Never waste your time on someone who doesn't love you. He or she will never be satisfied, even if you sacrifice your whole life. Be always calm and aspire to greater things in life because the power of positive thinking works.

WHY NO ONE WANTS TO LIVE WITH ME?

Many are experiencing bitter relationships, but how many of them try to find out the reason things are not going the right way?

Many are experiencing bitter relationships, but how many of them try to find out the reason things are not going the right way?

Many are raised in different homes, influenced by different cultures, customs, and traditions. Thus, living with other people sometimes becomes a very difficult issue, proving that it’s often wrong if we lean on our own understanding. Many times, you may think you are right but wrong.

It is very common and part of our everyday life to see beautiful ladies and gentlemen in town and at the offices. The perfume they wear adds glamor to their personalities with sweet charm, but many are experiencing bitter relationships, often taking away their happiness and putting them into a tunnel of misery.

The setup of our homes immediately conveys the message to a visitor, the nature and character of those dwelling there, and the sort of training or life being acquired from it.

Truly, the life and character of a person can easily be determined from the home he or she was raised in. Thus, are you one of those hard to live with, because of your bad character or the nature of the home you were raised in?

If you are a lady or gentleman in your late thirties and still living single, after many stormy affairs, it’s time to sit quietly and ask: Am I a difficult person to live with? If I am, how can I make things better?

Once in Amsterdam, I shared a kitchen with other tenants living in the apartment. More than a dozen times, I witnessed one of the male tenants spitting into the kitchen sink.

A kitchen where I cut my meat and do my cooking? I was shocked to the extent that I lost the desire to cook in that kitchen. I couldn’t tell him to stop because I don’t want any confrontation.

This went on and on until one of the tenants caught him in the act again, and the confrontation escalated into a physical fight. Eventually, the owner of the apartment, who wasn’t pleased with what he did, ejected him from that apartment.

How can an adult or fully grown man lack the intelligence to do something like that without noticing that it’s completely wrong?

In another development, a man lost his job because his employers said he stinks. He stood his ground to tell his boss that he is the one who stinks.

This bad odor is something I knew, but couldn’t tell him, because there are certain things not easy to speak about. This is a problem that shows that as human beings, we do many things and harbor many bad characters we don’t simply see or notice them.

In the early 2000s, I nearly lost my job at the restaurant where I was working in Antwerp. One of my female colleagues’ armpits smells very bad. I was finding it difficult to work with her, so I bought her a deodorant to use.

The deodorant ended up in the hands of her husband, who came to the office with his wife to see my boss. Luckily, I had already discussed this issue with my boss, thus I was set free.

It was a lesson I’m now very careful about the way I approach things. Some kindness may put you into very big trouble.

Life is wonderful. Life doesn’t mean suffering, but chains of sad and bad events, including bad habits and character, have taken their toll on mankind today, making life worthless to some people.

We can make life better and worthy to live by being humble, eliminating foolish pride, being content with whatever we have, and giving respect and love to our neighbors.

ONCE A MAN, TWICE A CHILD, BUT LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL

The beautiful part of being old

The beautiful part of being old

One of the wonderful phases of the cycle of life is the arrival of a newborn baby into the world, after a months-long agonizing pregnancy.

The devoted mother, after labor, sees her wonderful child in her arms and immediately forgets all the pains she passed through. You can hear the baby crying because he/she is hungry.

Looking after the baby becomes the task of her mother, in the morning, afternoon, evening, and at night. The mother can't sleep when the child is sick, making her lose the precious sleep she needs.

This uneasy task of bringing up a child will go on every day until the child is of age and can take care of herself or himself.

Like every living thing, a human being grows. Year after year, everyone celebrates his or her birthday. Like running water going down the drain, everyone becomes old without thinking of how fast the years are going by.

Old age is a difficult part of life that many fear. Loneliness, insecurity, and neglect are some of the issues that worry many old age people, even when there are homes or families to take care of them.

A man continues to grow and at a certain age, becomes like a child once again in his feeding and cleaning of himself. He starts acting like a child, sometimes crying and complaining about unnecessary things.

Is it really worth living when you find yourself in this situation? Yes, it's worth living.

Life is more precious than silver and gold. It's worth being in this world to explore, learn, and teach. Many simply don't value life because they fully depend on material things, and when they fail to get it, they become disappointed.

To be happy in life until old age, people also need to seek the spiritual part of life. It is written, "Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven."

Does this sound stupid? Just give it a try, and you will discover the value of life without a second thought of committing suicide when the going gets tough.
