THE HITLER-ISM IN MUGABE

Robert Mugabe liberated the Rhodesians from colonial oppression in 1980 but today's Zimbabweans demanded his resignation

Robert Mugabe liberated the Rhodesians from colonial oppression in 1980 but today's Zimbabweans demanded his resignation

Do you know that Robert Mugabe before becoming the president of Zimbabwe was a teacher in Ghana? It was in the country formerly called Gold Coast; he met his first wife, a Ghanaian lady called Sally Francesca Heyfron.

Like the late Ghanaian leader, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Mugabe fought tirelessly to free Rhodesia under colonial oppression and in 1980, the newly freed country became Zimbabwe.

The controversial Mugabe ruled Zimbabweans for 37 years with an iron fist. Was he too old to think about the welfare of the suffering people in this country?

Mugabe, the highly educated 93-year-old leader, doesn't like both American and British leaders and has spoken against a wide range of topics; from homosexuality and Britain to Barack Obama and Donald Trump.

Mugabe ruled for almost four decades. His rule dramatically came to an end this week. Here are some of his famous quotes.

On imperialism

"Africa must revert to what it was before the imperialists divided it. These are artificial divisions which we, in our pan-African concept, will seek to remove." - Speech at Salisbury, 1962

"Stay with us, please remain in this country and constitute a nation based on national unity." - A plea to the white population of Zimbabwe at a Zanu-PF rally, 1980

"Only God, who appointed me, will remove me - not the MDC, not the British. Only God will remove me!" - Election rally, 2008. MDC is an opposition party.

"Our party must continue to strike fear in the heart of the white man, our real enemy." - Zanu-PF rally, 2002

On homosexuality:

"We ask, was he born out of homosexuality? We need continuity in our race, and that comes from the woman, and no to homosexuality. John and John, no; Maria and Maria, no. They are worse than dogs and pigs. I keep pigs and the male pig knows the female one." - ZDC radio interview, 2015

"We equally reject attempts to prescribe 'new rights' that are contrary to our values, norms, traditions, and beliefs. We are not gays!" - UNGA, 2015
On Britain:

"Britain is a very cold, uninhabitable country with small houses." - Mutare rally, 2013

"We are still exchanging blows with the British government. They are using gay gangsters. Each time I pass through London, the gangster regime of Blair 'expresses its dismay'." In reference to an incident in which human rights campaigner Peter Tatchell attempted a citizens' arrest on Mugabe during a visit to London in October 1999.

"We have fought for our land, we have fought for our sovereignty, small as we are we have won our independence and we are prepared to shed our blood ... So, Blair keeps your England, and let me keep my Zimbabwe." - Earth Summit, South Africa, 2002.

On Hitler:

"I am still the Hitler of the time. This Hitler has only one objective: justice for his people, sovereignty for his people, recognition of the independence of his people and their rights over their resources. If that is Hitler, then let me be Hitler tenfold. Ten times, that is what we stand for." - State funeral of a Cabinet minister, 2003

On the economy:

"Our economy is a hundred times better, than the average African economy. Outside South Africa, what country is [as good as] Zimbabwe? … What is lacking now are goods on the shelves - that is all." - Interview, 2007.

On Jesus Christ:

"I have died many times - that's where I have beaten Christ. Christ died once and resurrected once." - To state radio on 88th birthday

On cricket:
"Cricket civilizes people and creates good gentlemen I want everyone to play cricket in Zimbabwe; I want ours to be a nation of gentlemen." - This is a widely reported quote, but it was unclear when Mugabe said this.

On US presidents:

"Let Mr. Bush read history correctly. Let him realize that both personally and in his representative capacity as the current president of the United States, he stands for this 'civilization', which occupied, which colonized, which incarcerated, which killed.

He has much to atone for and very little to lecture us on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. His hands drip with [the] innocent blood of many nationalities." - UNGA, 2007

"I've just concluded - since President Obama endorses same-sex marriage, advocates homosexual people, and enjoys an attractive countenance - thus if it becomes necessary, I shall travel to Washington, DC, get down on my knee, and ask his hand." - ZDC radio interview, 2015

"Some of us were embarrassed, if not frightened, by what appeared to be the return of the biblical giant gold Goliath. Are we having a return of Goliath to our midst, who threatens the extinction of other countries?" - UNGA, 2017

"May I say to the United States President, Mr. Trump, please blow your trumpet. Blow your trumpet in a musical way towards the values of unity, peace, cooperation, togetherness, dialogue, which we have always stood for." - UNGA, 2017

On grooming a successor:

"Grooming a successor, is it an inheritance? In a democratic party, you don't want leaders appointed that way. They have to be appointed properly by the people." - TV interview, 2016

The Fear Of Death Hunting Homosexuals In Africa

Homosexuality is not part of the African culture but they are now listening to external voice: First traditional Gay marriage in South Africa.

Homosexuality is not part of the African culture, but they are now listening to the external voice: First traditional Gay marriage in South Africa.

Homosexuality, men having sexual intercourse, is an abominable act in many parts of Africa. Africa, a continent of different tribes and clans, doesn’t approve of many things that they consider taboo.

Thus, someone caught in a homosexual act instantly faces severe punishment, beatings, and lynchings, many times leading to death.

Since homosexuality is a crime in African countries that don’t permit it, those involved in such acts hide it from the sight of the public, but the homosexual movements in Europe and America today, fighting for recognition, have inspired or encouraged African homosexuals to make their voice heard.

Thus, the social vice which is less popular in Africa is now becoming famous in many African countries, turning the countries into an unnerving place to live in, because church leaders and many organizations against this practice, wouldn’t like to embrace this type of culture, they call it ‘Evil’, to add to their own culture.

At times, I do ask myself time and time again, do Europeans or Americans think Africa will readily accept whatever they are interested in? Africa had nothing to do with Christianity before the white missionaries ever went there.

They thought Africans to follow the Bible or the gospel. Well, later the truth was discovered. The reason wasn’t to let Africans know about Christianity but to loot.

Fortunately, many parts of Africa derived interest in the Bible and studied it thoroughly, therefore living by its teachings. An African Christian, explaining his point to defend his hate against homosexuality, would take one deep step into the Bible.

Two of such scriptures confirming that homosexuality is an evil act can be read in 1st Timothy, Chapter 10, and 1st Corinthians, Chapter 6, verse 9.

The question is: Why are Europeans and other Gay Rights Organizations now fighting for the practice of homosexuality to be recognized in Africa, when they had already been there with the Holy Bible, a book telling Africans how evil the practice of homosexuality is?”

The teachings of the Holy Bible can’t be reversed, so I am afraid to say that Africa can never change its mind or opinion on the negative aspects of homosexuality.

Africa is already overwhelmed by many diseases, such as AIDS, Ebola, malaria, and others. It, therefore, makes sense when they don’t want that practice.

Europeans, Advanced Countries, and some Civil rights organizations are the first people whose voices are heard whenever there is a bad situation in Africa, but whenever there is an epidemic, the response to contain the situation never comes or is very slow.

Aids has taken thousands of Africans to their untimely grave since the early eighties, but some rich people who were affected during that period in America are still living.

Many believe that after Africa’s survival of Aids, Ebola, and other deadly diseases, America and Europe are destined to ruin the continent with homosexuality, just to continue to kill Africans, when any epidemic erupts.

Africa has learned a lot from their misfortunes, which is the reason it is fighting against homosexuality today. Unfortunately, the path Uganda has taken to deal with this issue is totally out of course. The proposal for the death penalty for homosexuals is sheer madness. Violence against homosexuals is not an option or a solution.

According to many homosexuals, they were born with it. Who feels it, knows it. Do men bear to love men? That’s really a hard concept to accept.

The more I think about this issue, the more I get confused. African leaders must find a way to deal with the rise of homosexuality in Africa because death is not an option to eradicate or stop homosexuality in Africa.

DAVID CAMERON CAN KEEP HIS AID, GHANA SAYS 'NO' TO HOMOSEXUALITY

Is that what Europe and America want Africa to legalize when they are still dealing with Aids and Ebola crisis?

Is that what Europe and America want Africa to legalize when they are still dealing with the Aids and Ebola crisis?

In a recent interview with the BBC, British Premier David Cameron threatened to cut aid to anti-gay countries and declared that “countries receiving British aid should adhere to proper human rights.”

Can David Cameron define what it means by proper human rights? If a country doesn’t want to embrace a culture that they are familiar with or accept homosexuality on its soil, is that an abuse of human rights?

Can David Cameron accept when the Ghanaian government tells him to stop the deportation of illegal immigrants because it is an abuse of human rights?

David Cameron has forgotten that he has a big task on his shoulders to deal with the problems of alcoholism, teenage pregnancy, and crime in his country, rather than interfering in the Ghanaian government’s policy on gay issues.

His request to legitimize homosexuality in Ghana is meaningless. The Ghanaian government can take that.

The West and many advanced countries think that they can tell Africa what to do. If Cameron wants Ghana to legitimize homosexuality, he must first leave his wife and begin to enjoy the 'back' of men, then the whole of Ghana will follow him and take his advice.

Africa has suffered enough. The continent is still fighting against AIDS, malaria, and other deadly diseases; it is, therefore, clear that there is no room for homosexuality.

Ghanaian and religious leaders should fight against homosexuality in Ghana and let Cameron keep his aid. Ghanaians will not die from famine. Yesterday was slavery and Apartheid.

They are dead and gone. Today, they are enforcing homosexuality in a country that is totally foreign to such acts. Cameron should begin to respect Ghana and understand the country’s cultural values.

Above all, homosexuality has nothing to do with human rights; it is a human's choice.

HOMOSEXUALITY: WHY AFRICA CAN NOT ACCEPT

The cultural values in Africa can't accept homosexuality

The cultural values in Africa can't accept homosexuality.

Homosexuality is seen as an abominable act in Africa. Fortunately, many parts of Africa derived interest in the Bible and studied it thoroughly, therefore living by its teachings. An African Christian explaining his point to defend his hate against homosexuality would take one deep step into the Bible to give you a reference.

Two of such scriptures confirming that homosexuality is an evil act can be read in 1st Timothy, chapter 10, and 1st Corinthians, chapter 6, verse 9.

GAY COUPLES CHILD ADOPTION, RIGHT OR WRONG?

Every child needs a mother and father

Every child needs a mother and a father.,

Every man has the right to decide his own destiny. One shouldn't discriminate against someone because of his or her religious beliefs or sexual preference.

From time memorial, many have been prosecuted, imprisoned and killed for their religious beliefs or sexual preference.

Hostility, hatred, and discrimination are now the new acts against gay couples and lesbians. Society doesn't want to accept their choice of partnership and recognize their 'rights' as modest people in society. They are seen as strange people from another planet and treated as outcasts.

Biblically, the sexual preference gays and lesbians have chosen or are fighting to be recognized and accepted in our society was exactly what led to the destruction of the cities Sodom and Gomorrah.

There are many Christians around the world, including Catholics, who read the Holy Bible daily but still practice gay and lesbian affairs. Even a pastor that supposed to lead people not to go astray officiates gay and lesbian marriages.

For some time now, a hot debate has been going on in many parts of the world over the decision of gay couples to adopt a child. Gays and lesbians think it is their right to adopt a child, but Society and many welfare organizations see it as an abominable act. Who is right or wrong?

The most prevailing influence anything can have on a child is the influence of his or her parents, especially the mother. Therefore, parents are required to develop virtuous morals and character.

For example, most children begin smoking very early because their parents smoke. The same thing applies to alcohol. Don't try to stop your child from smoking and drinking whilst you are a heavy drinker and smoker yourself.

Children get confused when faced with situations not certain sure of. I think a straight child may find him or herself in a very deep confusion when being raised in the home of gay couples. If a child wakes up in the morning, which of the two men is he calling daddy?

Seeing two men in bed every day is somehow a mental agony for this vulnerable child, who has no choice of her own to speak against or her dislike of that situation. And seeing two women kissing each day in front of her at home, which of them is she calling her mother?

In fact, desires, greed, selfishness, and lust in people do not enable or permit them to accept some things that are not right. The adoption of children by gays and lesbians is one typical example.

Are they not aware that sexual identity confusion is very common among children raised by gay parents? In the first place, if they are desperately looking for a child, why can't they have their own but choose to be lesbians and gays?

In my opinion, child adoption by gay couples and lesbians is completely wrong. The world must stand strong against it. They can choose to be gay or lesbian. That is their 'rights' and decision, but they must leave the children alone.
