Cooking at home as a beginner without tears

Cooking at home is healthy and saves money

Cooking at home is healthy and saves money

I am always motivated to write about cooking for two important reasons. First, I learned to cook from a very young age. I grew up watching my mother prepare delicious meals for my father, and those moments shaped my understanding of food, care, and family.

Later, working in a restaurant in Antwerp strengthened my skills and gave me professional experience in the kitchen. Cooking has become more than a habit. When you know how to cook properly, you don’t rush to restaurants.

You can prepare healthier, tastier meals in your own kitchen, and you enjoy the comfort and savings that come with homecooked food. Everything tastes delicious in the mouths of most people who are incapable of cooking and prefer to eat fast food or at the restaurant.

Cooking at home is one of the most rewarding habits anyone can develop. It saves money, strengthens your connection to the food you eat, and gives you the freedom to create meals that truly reflect your tastes and values.

Many people rely on restaurants out of convenience, but with a little guidance and practice, preparing your own meals becomes not only easy but also enjoyable. You don’t need to be a professional chef to get started; you just need curiosity, patience, and a willingness to learn.

The first step is to simplify your approach. Start with basic ingredients you already know: rice, pasta, vegetables, eggs, chicken, or beans. Learn a few foundational techniques such as boiling, sautéing, roasting, and seasoning.

These simple skills open the door to countless dishes. Once you master the basics, you’ll find that cooking becomes less of a chore and more of a creative outlet. You’ll also begin to understand how flavors work together, which is the secret to making delicious meals without complicated recipes.

Another key to successful home cooking is planning. You don’t need a strict weekly menu, but having a general idea of what you want to cook helps you shop smarter and avoid waste.

Keep essential items in your kitchen: spices, onions, garlic, oil, canned tomatoes, and grains. With these staples, you can prepare a satisfying meal even on busy days. Over time, you’ll discover which ingredients you love most and how to build meals around them.

Finally, remember that cooking is a journey, not a race. Mistakes will happen, and that’s part of the learning process. What matters is consistency. The more you cook, the more confident you become.

And as your skills grow, you’ll realize how much money you save, how much healthier you feel, and how enjoyable it is to create something with your own hands. Cooking at home isn’t just a practical skill; it’s a form of empowerment.

For anyone just starting out, remember that you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. A good cookbook can be an invaluable companion, offering clear instructions, reliable recipes, and stepbystep guidance whenever you need it.

Think of it as a friendly mentor in your kitchen, ready to help you build confidence one meal at a time. With practice, patience, and the right resources, cooking at home becomes not only manageable but also deeply satisfying.

You’ve been encouraging people to cook at home, and this point you just made is actually a powerful argument for it. It’s not just about saving money or eating healthier; it’s about reclaiming your taste, your awareness, your standards

DIVORCE AND SEPARATION- CAUSES MANY ARE NOT AWARE OF

Falling in love is a wonderful and magical experience between two people. The chemistry is strange and sometimes very complicated but the experience differs in many ways, however, the commonest are happiness, restlessness, and strong emotions.

Falling in love with someone doesn’t always guarantee a successful marriage or living together. Frankly speaking, according to statistics, many are getting a divorce more than living together.

To build and support successful marriage or relationships, many partners read books written as a guide to a successful and marriage.

Despite hundreds of books counseling couples, lovers are constantly in pain, emotionally and psychologically affected by painful love affairs.

The causes of divorces or separations vary, lack of attention, sex, cheating, quarrels, financial matters, and many others attribute to going separate ways.

However; few things many never thought of as a destroyer of marriages is the lack of cooking at home and lack of prevention of early sex in teenage relationships.

Many couples' friendships began at school as teenagers before they settled. In principle, it is always good for people to study and know each other very well, before entering into relations or love affairs.

But on moral issues entering into relationships as teenagers isn’t a wise thing to do. Children as young as thirteen and fourteen indulged in caressing and kissing. This is seen as normal in advanced countries but in Africa, it is not permitted.

Most of these early relationships end up in separate ways or living together but when they finally get married, love isn't as strong as before. That’s where the problems begin. In this case, the marriage doesn't go far. Why?

The reason is simple and logical, both have seen their nakedness too much as teenagers to the extent that they no longer value their precious bodies as adults.

Since no more happiness, the essence of enjoying a happy relationship is completely ruined. Here the dignity and the worthiness of the woman have been neglected by the man. It is always the man that causes the breakup because he wants something new.

Many start to cheat and stayed late at work in illicit love affairs. A woman or man may find real happiness in life, marriage, living together, or in relationships when they enter into a love affair as adults than as teenagers.

Any man or woman who doesn’t know how to cook before getting into a relationship or marriage may not fully enjoy the relationship.

There is always a guarantee for a happy marriage when one of the partners know how to cook but if both can’t cook means the marriage may have a bleak future.

Imagine a family depending always on fast and tin foods. How would a husband feel after a day’s hard work, comes home to sit behind the dining table and be served with tin spaghetti with that marshy tomato sauce? Many enjoy that but that’s a health hazard.

A man facing such a situation may never be happy. Some may speak against it but many hide the way they feel when upset. Since he can’t live with that any longer he starts to seek his interest in other places.

That’s where the cheating starts. If the one he is seeing can provide him those delicious meals he is missing from his previous partner, the relationship automatically comes to an end.

It is therefore very essential for both men and women to learn or know how to cook before getting into a relationship or marriage. Getting familiar with cooking isn’t a difficult issue.

There are thousands of books and adult schools for cooking. The time factor is always an issue.

Many may not have the time to go to a cooking school after work. Here a cooking book is very useful. Just follow the instructions on how to cook and next you see the delicious meal on the dining table.

You may not be perfect at your first attempt but remember practice makes a man perfect.

Besides, cultivating the habit of cooking at home saves a lot of money. I am happily married for the past twenty-six years. When my wife is busy at work, I do the cooking for the children.

This is the only way to share the secrets of why our marriage is stronger than ever. I am a very good cook besides my writing career.

HOW COOKING AT HOME BUILDS A HAPPY MARRIAGE AND FAMILY

Cooking at home builds a happy marriage

Cooking at home builds a happy marriage.

Marriage is a bond between a man and a woman, united to live together. The wishes married couples seek include happiness, prosperity, and good health. But many times these wishes rather become a nightmare, bringing many marriages to an abrupt end.

One important factor, which many women don't even think about it but could easily bring a marriage to an end, is when the woman doesn't know how to cook. In African society, a mother teaches her daughter how to cook before stepping into marriage.

That is the reason it is rare to find a woman who doesn't know how to cook in Africa. Also, divorce is less common in Africa.

The experienced African woman knows perfectly well that it is a total disgrace not only to her daughter but also to her when her daughter doesn't know how to cook.

In this case, before her daughter steps into marriage, she teaches her many things, including cooking, to build a happy, successful marriage and family.

Unfortunately, in the advanced countries, it is not an important issue to a  White woman who doesn't know how to cook because there a restaurants, pizza, and Chinese food to order, and tin foods at the supermarket.

As a married woman, how would your marriage be when, after the day's hard work, your husband arrives home to see a can of spaghetti bought from the supermarket on the dining table as his dinner?

The man might not complain, even though he is not happy. How long can he harbor this in him? Eventually, he quickly seeks his happiness somewhere else.

Cooking is a profession, yet many can learn as a hobby or as a married woman. There are so many cookbooks that can help a beginner.

Don't think that putting on the sexiest dress or keeping sexy for your husband all the time would save your marriage. Learn how to cook and be a good wife to your husband. He will love you forever and ever boast of how good his wife can cook to his friends.

Order your pizza and Chinese food once a month or not at all. They are unhealthy.
