FIGHT AGAINST BREAST CANCER

Breast cancer on the rise

Breast cancer on the rise

There are many sicknesses which name quickly strike fear in people when mentioned. Apart from Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), Cancer has continuously put many people into mystery and fear.

There are many cancer diseases but breast cancer is very common. Both men and women are often diagnosed with cancer but the rate of women with cancer is much higher than men.

According to medical research, one of every eight women expected to develop breast cancer during their lifetime. That means that at any age, whether young or old, one could easily get cancer.

Further medical research reveals that cancer is hereditary, that is if it’s in the gene or DNA of your family one could easily get cancer.

Operations removing this deadly sickness from the breast are mostly successful but if the disease has spread badly, some people completely lose the entire breast. That is the sad aspect of life for any victim of cancer. Some cancer is quickly detected others are not seen until its last destruction stages.

As cancer doesn’t discriminate the need to see the doctor as soon as one sees and feels any unfamiliar symptoms with his or her health is very necessary.

Institutions must raise the awareness of breast cancer and the need to raise money to fight this disease is very necessary. Finally, survivors of breast cancer should share their experiences to encourage other victims.

LUCKY DUBE IS GONE, BUT MUSIC LIVES FOREVER

Lucky Dube

Lucky Dube

"Nobody can stop reggae.

Nobody can stop reggae.

Nobody can stop reggae.
'Cos reggae's strong."

You can change the style of playing reggae
You can change the rhythm of playing reggae
But never change the message every time I play it, a Babylon A wish me fe dead, a wish me fe dead"

Those are the wonderful lyrics of one of the greatest tunes of the South African Reggae legend, Lucky Dube. October 18 marks the 5th anniversary of the murder superstar in his country.

Through hard work, Lucky rose to be Africa's bestselling and outspoken reggae star; unfortunately, he didn't live long to enjoy the fruits of his labour. Lucky met his untimely death in an attempted car hijack.

In one of his interviews granted to me at the Pole-Pole festival in Antwerp, Belgium, a couple of years ago, Lucky said, "I know that the fall of Apartheid, I was part of it in some way."

His music was just like an arrow piercing through the flesh of the bad ones and the light to those engulfed in perpetual darkness. Truly, some great people don't live long. In a relatively short period, Lucky recorded  22 classic albums in Zulu and English.

Even though Lucky is gone, his music will never die. His music is aired more than any African reggae star. May his soul rest in peace, and music continue to inspire others like his daughter Nkule, and others to follow him.

THE EVIL SIDE OF CANCER

Cancer is a threat to both men and women

Cancer is a threat to both men and women.

When Jill Ireland was diagnosed with breast cancer and passed away in 1990, after a six-year battle with the disease, I felt the impact in a very hard way, since her husband, Charles Bronson, was one of my favorite film stars.

In an article captioned "Why Me?", Charles Bronson shows his grief, anguish, and sadness after his lovely wife succumbed to the disease.

I felt exactly like the great film star, mourning the death of his wife, without a slight knowledge that one day, cancer would crawl into my family.

Late this year, the one I love most was diagnosed with breast cancer, and the tumor was removed. I am aware of Akua's gorgeousness and beauty.

Her long, black, silky, beautiful hair and her attractive, wonderful smile. Day by day, I saw what the disease did to her, robbing her of beauty, joy, hair, and attractiveness and rendering her powerless.

However, in every situation, I will always love you, Akua. I will always be around to support you. My faith is to see you healthy and beautiful once again after this terrible ordeal. How I wish I could fight cancer physically.

I really hate cancer. Please leave people alone and go back to wherever you came from.

DOES MONEY GIVES COMFORT IN LIFE?

The Holy Bible

The Holy Bible

Money is something that no one could have a better life without. Money rules our daily lives in eating, education, clothing, accommodation, the shoes we wear, and almost everything that gives comfort in life. However, does money bring happiness?

Many people think and believe that money, fame, and beauty would make them happy. Therefore, they follow such things eagerly, only to be miserably disappointed when they couldn't get the happiness they were longing for.

If happiness could be derived from money and material things, it wouldn't have been necessary for Jesus to identify the key to happiness.

Jesus said, "Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need". Matthew 5:3. Genuine happiness can only be found if people depend heavily on spiritual needs rather than material needs.

One may ask, how can spiritual need help me when I can't pay my bills with it? Spiritual need builds faith, trust, comfort, and hope, which will make you survive those difficulties you are facing. The assurance of faith and hope gives you a happy mind to live a happy life.

But those who depend heavily on material things and money easily get disappointed, frustrated, and mentally disturbed. The next thing many try is to kill themselves.

The truth can be found in the Bible. There are many rich people as miserable as a church mouse, while the poor who struggle to eat live happily.

Building your spiritual faith through the Bible leads to a more meaningful life.

THE HIGH RATE OF TEENAGE SUICIDE

A depressed teenager

A depressed teenager

The rate at which teenagers are now committing suicide is overwhelming. The idea of a young person killing him or herself because of worries, pressure, or frustration is devastating and affects the family, school, friends, and the community.

Barely few months ago, a girl visited her friends to have a swim in a swimming pool. Three days later, the girl's mother called the family where her daughter went to the swimming pool that she has committed suicide.

She just waited for a coming train and jumped onto the rail. It is a very complicated issue trying to find the reason some children or teenagers end up their lives tragically in this manner.

The question is, do they hate themselves? Are they being bullied? Why is life suddenly meaningless to many teenagers when they have parents to take care of them?

When a teenager starts to smoke heavily and take alcohol frequently, parents shouldn't wait long to help the child. Sometimes parents are too hard on children for the fear of something happening to them, especially when the child wants to lead the life he wants best.

When any parents are confronted with such issues, there are organizations and trained people ready to help the child. Parents must be very close to their children and speak to them often to know if they are happy or not over something.

Here, the child will be happy that his parents are showing concern, signifying their love for him. The child will, therefore, tell them whatever is worrying him for his parents to give him help.

TONY NICKLINSON, BE STRONG, YOU CAN MAKE IT

Tony Nicklinson and wife Jane

Tony Nicklinson and his wife Jane, Photo credit: Yahoo News

The story of Tony Nicklinson is not only emotional but a very sad story indeed. His picture showing his anguish speaks it all. God only knows what this man is going through.

Even though it may seem cruel to many people worldwide, the three judges in court denied his wish to end his life after suffering a stroke, which left him paralyzed in 2005. The doctors and solicitors did the right thing by not granting his request.

Just imagine, when one kills a person, they face a murder charge. In this case, when a person is not dead, but because of suffering, someone helps him in any means to support and to speed up his death, the person is also a murderer.

Let's be sincere, despite the amazing discovery of modern technology, which has saved thousands of lives in our hospitals, who is the first person to raise his hand that he has put breath into a dead man's nostrils to wake him up?

If one has no power to raise a dead man, why must he take someone's life voluntarily?

Jane, Tony's wife, is a hard-working woman who has taken good care of her husband since 2005. I don't understand the reason she wants to give up now, after all these years.

I plead that she should cancel the idea of appealing to the court to grant her husband's request. Life, worth more than silver and gold.

JAMAICA ADDS ATHLETICS TO ITS REGGAE HISTORY

From left to right, Warren Weir, Usain Bolt, and Yohan Blake

From left to right, Warren Weir, Usain Bolt, and Yohan Blake

Jamaica, that wonderful Island in the Caribbean, for many years has established its name as one of the best countries in the world, in regard to tourism, and above all, the home of wonderful reggae music.

Jamaica is the birthplace of great reggae stars, including Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Jimmy Cliff, Gregory Isaacs, Joseph Hill-Culture, to name but a few.

Apart from the reggae stars, Jamaica has produced great sprinters in the past, such as Merlene Ottey, Asafa Powell, etc, yet in athletics, compared to other great countries, Jamaica wasn't classified as a great country in sports until the emergence of an unknown sprinter, Usain Bolt.

Usain Bolt's unique and charismatic performance, along with teammate Yohan Blake, has firmly established that Jamaica is not only good in music but also in athletics.

The 2012 Olympic Games taking place in London confirm it all. After winning the 100-meter race in 19.32 seconds, Usain became the first athlete to win two Olympic medals in the event. Yohan Blake, his training partner, also claimed silver in the event and bronze for Warren Weir.

There is no doubt that Jamaicans are now doing better in sports than the United States of America, which has produced great athletes in the past.

It seems underestimation of athletes from 'third world countries' is gradually coming to an end because the Jamaican sprinters are "Coming in hot! Hot! Hot! and firing some shots! Shot! shot!" Sings reggae legend late Peter Tosh.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NELSON MANDELA

Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela celebrated his 94th birthday on July 18, 2012, as his country stood behind him by participating in good deeds nationwide, to honor this great man, who history will always recognize as one of the heroes, to liberate South Africans who were under the brutal regime of Apartheid.

In South Africa, the nationals performed at least sixty-seven minutes of public service on his birthday, a reference to his number of years he devoted to helping others. Besides the various activities of honor, about fourteen million students sang "Happy Birthday" to him before they started their lessons.

In Qunu, his hometown, where he grew up, members of his family, including children and grandchildren, gathered to mark his birthday and perform community service at the local health centers. World leaders, including President Barack Obama, also paid tribute to Mandela.

"Nelson Mandela's personal story is one of unbreakable will, unwavering integrity, and abiding humility. By measure, he has changed the arc of history, transforming his country, continent, and the world, said Barack Obama. Mandela's last public appearance was at the 2010 World Cup, held in his country.

He is reported to be doing well at his age. The biography of Nelson Mandela is available at Amazon.com.

ROAD OF AGONY: BASED ON TRUE ACCOUNT

Nonfiction adventure

Non-fiction adventurous book

In many parts of Africa, the passport doesn't mean anything to the immigration officer. They are looking for travelers without a passport to generate some money; thus, holding a passport provokes them.

Like the scene of a movie, Babatunde is kidnapped by thieves in army uniforms. They were looking for money; since he had a bag, they thought there was money in it. Over three decades, the marks he received from the beatings he had from corrupt army officials can be traced to his body.

Road of Agony" is a marvel of a humane, sorrowful, and lucid account, in a sharper, clearer image of understanding, of how corruption is within the police, border control officers, and the army in Africa. The writer has given the truest account of what happened to him, written in a startling manner as an African writer.

THE AUTHOR

Joel Savage was born in Cape Coast, in the central region of Ghana, on January 19, 1957. He had his secondary school at both Ebenezer Secondary School and Accra High School in Accra, Ghana. In 1985, while living in Freetown, Sierra Leone, he became a naturalized citizen, therefore losing his nationality as a Ghanaian.

In his lifetime, he was much influenced by his father, who was a veteran journalist. His father's influence propelled his flair for writing at a very tender age. At school, he wrote numerous articles for publication. After secondary school, he followed a course at the Ghana Institute of Journalism in Accra to acquire more experience and writing skills.

As a freelance writer, Joel wrote feature articles for the Daily Graphic, Ghanaian Times, and Weekly Spectator in Accra, Ghana, for a certain period. He became a naturalized Belgian citizen in 2008.

He is now a prolific writer and accredited card-holding member of the "Vlaamse Journalisten Vereniging" (Flemish Journalist Association) in Belgium.

He lives in Antwerp, Belgium, with his wife and three children, where he freelances for newspapers, magazines, and television.

THE WRITER DIED : A NOVEL BY JOEL SAVAGE

A true account based on the life of a journalist

A true account based on the life of a journalist

Child neglect relates to the failure to provide a child’s basic needs. In Europe and America, some organizations assist in solving such problems or taking care of neglected children. In many parts of Africa, the story is entirely different.

This is an emotional, touching, and inspirational story of a young boy who finds himself in a similar situation.

Kumbe finds himself in a hostile environment as a victim of divorce and neglect. An environment where he witnesses the suffering and hustling his mother goes through to feed him.

He was unhappy because his father was neglecting his family, spending his fortune on other women. He sees his adolescence as a struggle to win the support of his father.

At school, he was among the best students. This gives him the inspiration to fight to educate himself. In a confused society, Kumbe spends a better part of his life visiting the library, reading, and studying.

Despite a daily horrendous life he passes through, Kumbe excels to be an outstanding journalist and writer.

He was attached to the president of his native country, Ghana, with enormous enthusiasm and optimism. However, in his life as a famous journalist, his fame gives him nothing but hatred, jealousy, and blackmail from an empire of deceitful enemies.

He stands strong and firm, destined to fight the cruel, charismatic power of those forces haunting him. But they are stronger than him. Despite his wife’s moral and material support, Kumbe surrenders and dies mysteriously.

Who and what killed him? “The Writer Died” is a truly remarkable book of hard life experience of child neglect, an indispensable and inspiring book for anyone who may find themselves in a similar situation.

The writer tries to define, measure, classify, and understand what child neglect is like in Africa.

CURSE: IF YOU DESERVE IT, YOU CAN'T ESCAPE IT

One can't escape a curse if you deserve it

One can't escape a curse if you deserve it.

A curse is a call for evil to come on a person or thing, but does it really work? Wickedness and violence now rule this world. Therefore, can a victim of a painful incident’s curse take effect on the one who was responsible for his or her misery? Yes, it can.

The Holy Bible speaks about the curse, and truly, if one deserves it, one can never escape the wrath of a curse pronounced on one. The disastrous effect of the curse on people is not commonly seen in advanced countries.

But in countries where poverty is very strong, you can’t just steal your neighbor's goat, sheep, cat, or property with impunity from a curse.

There are hundreds of mad people in many Third World countries. If you investigate the circumstances that led most of those people to be in that condition, you will be amazed. The Bible writes that, after the cure of Naaman from leprosy, Elisha refused to take any gift from him.

Gehazi, the servant of Elisha, secretly followed Naaman and collected the gifts, saying his master was too easy. God revealed to Elisha what his servant had done.

When Gehazi returned to his master, he said to him, “Naaman’s leprosy will cling to you and your descendants forever.

Then Gehazi went from Elisha’s presence, and he was leprous as white as snow. That is the effect of a curse. Gehazi deserves it for the wrong he did, which was the reason he couldn’t escape it.

One mustn’t think this was just a Biblical story; in this case, it doesn’t mean anything.

If you don’t believe in a ‘curse’, just keep it in your mind, but please don’t try it by causing harm or stealing someone’s property, to test if a curse could affect you.

If the victim pronounces his or her curse on you, there wouldn’t be any room to escape.

A curse is like a fit of spiritual anger that cannot be seen. No matter where you are, if you deserve it, you can never escape it.

Dorrance and Rosedog publishing scam - Never be tempted to go into their net

Dorrance publishing is a criminal organization

Dorrance Publishing is a criminal organization.

Thanks to the media and the effectiveness of the internet as a medium, to convey messages and warnings to people. As an amateur writer with an ambition to publish my work, I made a grave mistake, which cost me over $3000, without the books.

After finding the right publisher, through experienced writers and those associated with publishing, I am now happy and would like to publish my story, so that no one would ever make the mistake I did.

I saw a publisher called 'Dorrance' soliciting for manuscripts on the internet. Without much knowledge about their background as 'vanity or subsidy publisher' or 'Ghoul publisher', that is, they don't feed on the dead, but the living, I gave them two manuscripts.

There is no package on the website. They will tell you to make an initial payment of $500. After that comes the original package of $8.100, to be paid within a period of twenty-three months.

I wasn't happy about this. I, therefore, contacted a well-known female expert in book publishing, and she asked me to cancel the contract. She has a reason. According to her, what is stated in the Dorrance contract is never done.

They only used it as a bait to lure or encourage the submission of manuscripts. Moreover, they don't even have shops to sell their books as vanity publishers.

I believed her. An associate of Dorrance, called Mr. Andrew Rouce, whom I made the payment to, asked me to make an appointment online to speak to me. I followed his instructions and made the appointment, but no one called me.

This is evidence number one of what kind of publisher Dorrance is, which the book expert was talking about.

My two manuscripts are already with Dorrance. After the cancellation of the contract of $8.100, Mr. Rouce introduced another publisher called 'RoseDog' to me.

Both my manuscripts were transferred to RoseDog Publishers. After making a full payment of $2.155, plus $40 additional cost for the postage of three copies of books, the six-month period the book was supposed to come out, as said by Mr. Rouce, had expired, yet I have paid $1.133 for the second manuscript.

They asked me to finish up the payment of the second manuscript, and I said to them that it's not going to be possible since the first book which I have finished the payment, hasn't come out, therefore there is no way I will continue paying for the second script.

They were infuriated by my decision, and they thought the best punishment for me was to take the book that I had finished its payment hostage.

They refused every communication with me. I was compelled to find another publisher and make another payment on an on-demand (POD) contract.

Dorrance received my cancellation of the contract letter and referred part of their contract to me as a breach, and forfeited all the amount I have invested in my books.

I am not worried at all about losing this amount because I wouldn't have gotten anything as royalty from such a publisher. They are simply criminals within the publishing industry. Just imagine a publisher requesting me to provide the names of two hundred friends to buy my books.

They wanted to make money again at my expense. The most important message I want to convey to the public is "Dorrance and RoseDog publishers are birds of the same feathers, flocking together, "PLEASE NEVER BE TEMPTED TO GO INTO THEIR NET".

You can read hundreds of negative comments about 'Dorrance' on the internet. If you, I, and others join hands together and campaign against such publishers, the publishing industry would be somewhat better from frauds like that of Dorrance and RoseDog.

Don't say that you don't care, because it didn't happen to you. It may happen to your brother, sister, neighbour, or friend.

Just keep away from them. The comments of previous writers they had published their books and posted them on their websites are all false. They use them to counter-attack the war against them as bad publishers.

I don't have anything to lose; therefore, the campaign against Dorrance and RoseDog, as criminals within the publishing industry, will continue unabated.

AFTER FACEBOOK, COMES FUCBOOK, WHAT'S NEXT?

Love comes naturally

Love comes naturally

The weakness of Adam, to resist the temptation to eat the forbidden fruit, after being lured by Eve, according to the Bible, is now what dating sites dwell on, using women as bait, to make thousands of dollars from men worldwide.

All over the internet, dating websites are springing up like mushrooms in the bush. They are extremely intelligent in how to let the men, those I will call the weak ones, succumb to their knees, by displaying the most beautiful ladies at the sites as bait.

You will see on dating websites "Hundred percent free.
Absolutely, register now". Before the end of the registration, you will be confronted with the request of methods of payments, ranging from Visa to PayPal. Here, an intelligent man should know immediately that this is a money-making website, yet many ignore it.

For some time now, I have been receiving e-mail messages from a dating website calling itself 'Fucbook.' Obviously, this site was built from a stolen idea of 'Facebook', the social network. The advert reads

"There are MILLIONS of horny women (women) waiting to have sex. These women (women are easily searchable and available in your area. We can make it any easier to get laid every day of the week." Finally, they concluded with, "Join FUCBOOK right now for free and tap into unlimited SEX, no matter where you live.

The question is, when is a man going to show the world that he is not weak and stupid, as everyone thinks, to prevent the building of these scams and fraudulent dating sites? Surely, I know that I can 'face a book', because of my thirst for wisdom, unfortunately, I can't 'fuck a book', because I don't know how to do that.

GREAT BRITAIN: WHAT MAKES THIS COUNTRY TO BE GREAT?

Many British teenagers live on alcohol in Britain

Many British teenagers live on alcohol in Britain.

Frankly speaking, during my primary school education in Africa, I became fascinated with the country called 'Great Britain." Because travelers who have visited that country and those ready to go to London demonstrate certain things that make them elites.

Truly, one is always given a special welcome, recognition, and attention in Africa when he or she returns from Britain.

When I arrived in Europe in 1986, what I used to read in their newspapers pushed me to find out what events or historical facts made this country be called 'Great Britain.

Even though there is much crime in Africa, I believe that in Europe, Britain leads to criminal activities. Forgery, scams, falsification of documents and letters with the intention to defraud, credit card fraud, embezzlement, stealing, and rape are what make headlines in Britain.

Many people think the Dutch are stingy, but Britain is number one when it comes to stinginess. The whole world knows about this. They can't even leave a cent or penny behind for a cleaner when they lodge at hotels.

It was in Northampton, Britain, that I saw two sisters quarreling over a can of Coca-Cola, which I had never witnessed in Africa, a Third World Country. Teenage pregnancy and alcoholism make headlines.

In fashion, Britain. Comes last. Even though they are famous fashion shops, the British dress shabbily. They wore poor, inferior shoes. Obesity is taking its toll on them.

The police can't handle or cope with the surging waves of crime in the country. Stealing vehicles is on the rise. The country still drives on the wrong side of the road.

The salary scale for general workers is very low. People rush in and out of underground stations as if the devil is chasing them.

I read recently that British undercover police are allowed to sleep with women they spy on as a source to gather information. Who is the police boss in that country?

Is that the right way to gather information during an investigation?  To sleep with women as a source for information gathering during an investigation is a crime.

Maybe I'm completely wrong. But I don't see anything great about this country. I believe it's one of the most restless countries to live in the world. Wages are paid weekly, and all bills are paid weekly.

Many people are roaming roofless, and drug addiction has taken its toll on many. Great Britain? Not at all, it's 'Hell Britain.'

WHO IS A RACIST? EVERY ONE IS A RACIST

An angry policeman shows anger to a Blackman

An angry policeman shows anger toward a Blackman.

The Blackman said to the Whiteman that "You are a racist," and the Whiteman also said to the Blackman that "You are a racist." This became more interesting than a common argument.

Nobody is prepared to be called a racist. The question is, who, at all, is a racist? Racism, the claim of superiority of skin against another person, is something that can't be eradicated but can be reduced.

When one talks about racism, all attention goes to the Whiteman, because the Whiteman is the one people point fingers at as being racist.

Frankly speaking, some Blacks are more racist than the Whiteman. Again, racism is an act that is with everyone.

Why do some people hate others because of their sexual preference? Why do people hate other people because of religious preference?

The Flemish don't like the Walloons in Belgium. "We don't want them to come and live in our society and ruin our culture."

What a racist comment made by a Flemish politician against the Walloons. The Italians hate the Albanians. I don't see this as only discrimination but also racism.

The African is accusing the Whiteman of being racist, but when you go to Africa, you will learn how they hate themselves over there.

The Yoruba man hates an Igbo man in Nigeria, a Fanti hates an Ashanti in Ghana, a Hutu hates a Tutsi in Rwanda, and a Creole man hates the Temini man in Sierra Leone.

If the Africans hate themselves, why then do they accuse the Whiteman of racism? Nobody is racist, or in my opinion, everyone is a racist.

If people will understand, respect, and value other people regarding the color of their skin, religion, or sexual preference, the world will be a peaceful place to live. Let God judge, don't judge.

ONCE A MAN, TWICE A CHILD, BUT LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL

The beautiful part of being old

The beautiful part of being old

One of the wonderful phases of the cycle of life is the arrival of a newborn baby into the world, after a months-long agonizing pregnancy.

The devoted mother, after labor, sees her wonderful child in her arms and immediately forgets all the pains she passed through. You can hear the baby crying because he/she is hungry.

Looking after the baby becomes the task of her mother, in the morning, afternoon, evening, and at night. The mother can't sleep when the child is sick, making her lose the precious sleep she needs.

This uneasy task of bringing up a child will go on every day until the child is of age and can take care of herself or himself.

Like every living thing, a human being grows. Year after year, everyone celebrates his or her birthday. Like running water going down the drain, everyone becomes old without thinking of how fast the years are going by.

Old age is a difficult part of life that many fear. Loneliness, insecurity, and neglect are some of the issues that worry many old age people, even when there are homes or families to take care of them.

A man continues to grow and at a certain age, becomes like a child once again in his feeding and cleaning of himself. He starts acting like a child, sometimes crying and complaining about unnecessary things.

Is it really worth living when you find yourself in this situation? Yes, it's worth living.

Life is more precious than silver and gold. It's worth being in this world to explore, learn, and teach. Many simply don't value life because they fully depend on material things, and when they fail to get it, they become disappointed.

To be happy in life until old age, people also need to seek the spiritual part of life. It is written, "Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven."

Does this sound stupid? Just give it a try, and you will discover the value of life without a second thought of committing suicide when the going gets tough.

MARIO BALOTELLI SHOULD SUE THE NEWSPAPER "Gazzetta dello Sport"

MARIO BALOTELLI

MARIO BALOTELLI

When it comes to gross disrespect, abuse of human rights, and racism against blacks, Italians are number one within the European Union. They do that every day against Blacks with impunity.

This time, they have gone too far by showing pure racism against Mario Balotelli, a footballer playing for Manchester City and the Italian national team.

Even though anti-racism campaigners have criticized the newspaper "Gazzetta Dello Sport" for depicting Mario Balotelli like King Kong in a cartoon on top of the clock tower Big Ben, that isn't enough.

The newspaper has to be sued. Mario shouldn't accept any apology because Italians are like pigs; no matter how you clean them, they will still go into the mud.

They should be ashamed of themselves. The country has the police, Carabinieri, and Guardia di Finanza, yet they can't fight their mafia gangs, the Camorra and the Ndrangheta, causing panic, misery, and death throughout Italy.

All that they know best is racism against poor, innocent blacks. Italians can't live in their own country because of mafia activities. This is what the newspapers must fight against, but not to insinuate racism.

No one can tell me better about the attitude of Italians toward Blacks. I lived in Rome for three years, and my experience in that city is vividly in my mind like a picture hanging on the wall.

One couldn't even identify a genuine policeman from a false one because every criminal has a police badge to rob people.

They claim to be intelligent, yet they can't speak common English. Their intelligence only lies in racism, mafia activities, robbing banks, killing, and ruining the businesses of other people who do not want to pay money to the mafia gangs. Blacks don't do this. They should leave Mario Balotelli alone. Shameless people.

YOU TOO CAN WRITE FOR MONEY

Writing is an interesting creative part of life

Writing is an interesting, creative part of life.

Many are born with talents. Some of these talents could be hereditary. While others go to school to learn whatever they want to do in life. In this case, some people are born as writers while others are made.

As an African writer who grew up in a hard environment, where education was and is always a luxury, I don't think I would have made it to the university level to study journalism. It is very expensive to study at a university in any part of Africa.

At a very tender age in middle school, I detected my passion for writing. Mine was hereditary because my father was one of the best Ghanaian journalists during the Kwame Nkrumah era. Justin Kodzo Savage (JUSKOSAVE) was assigned as a reporter to travel with Kwame Nkrumah, the first president of Ghana.

Many newspapers reject articles. They look for special articles of interest. It seemed I hit my targets right. Every article I wrote was published. That encouraged me to read and write more articles. At secondary school, I had already made a name for myself as a writer.

I was paid for many of my articles, and within a short period, not that I became well known, but I made a lot of money from my writings. There are many books about how to be a successful writer, but I have my own ideas and rules I dwell on to be a successful writer.

1. Please, when one wants to write articles that can easily be accepted by the print media for publication, choose topics like teenage pregnancy, drug abuse, crime, or any other social problems affecting society to write about. The print media love them.

2. When writing, let readers know about the effect of the chosen subject on society. You could even suggest how the government should tackle the problem by reducing or permanently eradicating it.

3. Don't try to impress the publisher by writing long articles, or else the article may lose its significance. Let your article be short, with all the ingredients that make it interesting. You will be happy sitting by your dining table, reading your own written article.
